I still have so many clips of me and my buddy(ies) flying in formation, controlling skies, dropping bombs and rockets as fighters. Tank formations protected by artillery steaming through the map. Screenshots of us as top squad in accurate uniforms and weaponry. We mainly did milsim non-competitive missions like we had since BF3-4 in the communities we were in. But when we jumped in public matches *whew* you better look out. Battlefield V was our last hurrah. She wasn’t perfect, especially at launch, and she was put down too soon just when things were greatest. Cannot deny the fun we had though. A few months ago we redownloaded and played together, topping leaderboards once again 👍 Just like old times

I still play BF5 and occasionally BF2042 (but I usually play on Portal servers like “Afghanistan War Sim” that make the game play like older battlefields). I gotta say, BF1 and BFV probably have the best immersion of the franchise. The audio is fantastic, and the graphics are honestly still really nice. They’re also just fun to play I PRAY the upcoming game Delta Force lights a fire under EA’s ass and it pushes DICE to return to form.

I miss playing this game with friends. it was never as fun alone so i eventually stopped. Also while the Vehicle combat was awesome i suck so much at it. i watched countless guides and tutorials but i never got good. i also NEVER find any spots to shoot or bomb at when in a plane. They just stop to exist the moment i enter a plane. I have 0 kills in a plane because i cant find shit

I played the campaign, but have yet to try multi-player. I grew up playing racing games, not fps games. My only real experience in fps games was Medal of Honor Rising Sun on GameCube with shared screen multi-player that nobody wanted to play with. Then not too long after the Nintendo Wii came out, Call of Duty Black Ops, which I couldn't connect to the internet to try multi-player. I'm good with racing games, but crap at fps games. I put a lot of time getting good at racing games that people that did play shared screen multi-player with me at the time quit, because I got too good at it. Went a few years without playing racing games, that I got rusty at it.

The game looks great but I remember it being so unbalanced with the ttk/ttd It was fun for a while and then somehow it was just broken. The last time I played it,, I came up behind an enemy who was watching over a wall, I thought “ooh! .. this will be funny” I pulled out my rpg, shot the guy right between the shoulder blades from like 5 ft away. Not only did he NOT die, he turned around and killed me with one shot from a pistol. I stood up, turned off the Xbox,, and never touched the game again. 😢

2042 tried too hard to compete with mw. V was trash since launch, I played 5 minutes of the game & it wasn’t even true to the trailer. BF1 however is epic & reflects the gameplay as shown in its trailers. Problems with v, lack of attrition, ammo system, repair system of vehicles, ZERO SPOTTING (in 1 everyone can soot everyone simply by pressing RB) messed up classes. Literally all they had to do to make v successful was take bf1 & re-skin it in ww2
