Anybody who says we dont want or need him needs to lay off the drugs. We used to buy some of the best players from our own league and have missed out on players like Ferguson. That was a no brainer for me but obviously Gerrard , GVB and Beale didn't see the potential the rest of us and clubs in europe did. Scott Wright, Jordan Jones and the lad Hastie from Motherwell mabey put us off looking at players that already play there football in Scotland.

Any chance that McCrorie is part exchange for Daniel Armstrong of Killie? He a decent player and Scottish. No doubt there are those who will say " not Rangers class". But he knows the league better than the likes of Lammers who couldnt handle the physical side.

@@colincameron415 Lammers doesn't want to come back as far as I'm aware. He'd prefer to stay at Utrecht. Armstrong's stats last season were 38 games, 6 goals, 10 assists. Ross McCausland was 29 games, 3 goals 4 assists. No one has an issue with Ross, although I think he's a bit lightweight. Having players whore acclimatised to the SPL isn't a bad thing. I remember the late Ray Wilkins who'd played in England and Italy saying he never got used to how little time you get on the ball in Scotland before someone's in and about you.
