Ben Davies was excellent at the end of the season. If a suitable offer comes in though with only 2 years left of contract, a sale would be best. Not one whose contract you would extend.

The youth players need minutes in the first team if they are to develop and at some point they need to sink or swim. Hopefully, Alex Lowrie can make the breakthrough this season and save the club a fortune, taking up his destined No.10 role but he needs to develop his work rate and stay grounded to realise his full potential. Less off-field antics and concentrate 100% on improving himself on the pitch.

Dessers got better the more fit he got. Scott Wright - he must be a good trainer. Doesn’t seem to turn that into performances. Over and over again and it won’t improve.

I do genuinely think we have a chance at silverware next season. Wouldn't get my hopes up but don't disregard the possibility. Celtic v Ayr United friendly ended 1-1 in an anti-climatic finish. Stephen Welsh and Yuki Kobayashi aren't up to scratch after a long absence, whether or not either of the two will be moved on is unknown. They've been utilising a few of their youngster players but that doesn't excuse a draw against a Championship side like Ayr United. Their trip to the US might foretell what's to come for next season. The squad has remained virtually unchanged from last season with the exception of Joe Hart's retirement and Adam Idah's uncertain future. Our squad might not be the best in the world either but I could easily see us piling the pressure on. They aren't the Celtic-of-old, their transfers are rubbish consisting mid-level project players bought mainly for marketing. We could easily beat this manky mob if we invest more into our squad and offload the deadwood like Scott Wright, Goldson and Tavernier. We've got Cortes and Diomande + Sima coming back on a fee of about 4.5 million. Nsiala, Jefte, Barron, Igamane officially signed with the scarf above the head. Likely Daniel Armstrong and Theo Bair on the way soon, out of contract from Kilmarnock and Motherwell. Danilo is back and Dessers might get punted. In which case, I still think there is a good chance we'll go for Shankland. Dessers finishing is too much of a risk in a league where every game must be won. 20+ goals is great, but if it doesn't lead to trophies then I don't see it. Make a bit of profit and sign someone you know who can find the back of net. Yukinari Sugawara from AZ Alkmaar has been a linked right-back to Rangers. Donny van de Beek is leaving Manchester United soon. Some good potential bargains in the Championship with Luton, Leeds, Stoke and Hull. Ianis Hagi could be coming back after an impressive form at the EUROs. Rabbi Matondo transforms into CR7 by the flick of a switch. We are slowly but surely rebuilding our squad from Beale the Snake's horrendous mis"management". What holds us back the most each season is our injury list crisis. I think we could have won our last two Old Firm fixtures had it not been for the XI. Another thing I hope for is the youth players to get a chance to prove themselves. We've seen how well McCausland can play so let's give players like McKinnon, Lovelace, Yfeko etc a chance too. One player we should keep an eye on is Seung-woo Lee, a left-winger for Suwon FC in the K League and a former Barcelona B, Hellas Verona, Sint-Truiden and Portimonense player. He was named as POTY of May, with 9 goals and two assists in 15 appearances this season. Back in his Barca youth days, he was known as the "Korean Messi". He was a very talented youth player but that was stunted by the covid lockdowns. For some reason, Lee was excluded out the matchday squad while playing Belgium for 12 games with no real implication as to why, sparking controversy. A good goalscorer at Sint-Truiden held back by his team similar to Lawrence Shankland. He sought a loan move to Portugal but didn't make much of an impression, so he returned home to Korea. He sits as currently the third-highest goalscorer in the K League this season and nominee for Best XI. Definitely a hidden gem, one that went under the radar during lockdown. Under Clement, I can see him reinventing himself and becoming a valued asset to the club. We seem to forget that only a few seasons ago, Shankland was playing for Beerschot with only 6 goals before signing for Hearts. It can link to personal or wider circumstances that may inhibit development. You can't judge a player solely off of stats alone or the league they play in. Mofokeng for instance is a player a lot of European clubs may have skipped out on just because he plays in South Africa. All it takes is a nudge and some confidence to show their full colours. Hopefully Koppen has tabs on the Far East market. I don't mean to generalize or stereotype, but I can confidentally say that the workrate and dedication of Japanese and Korean players is strong. Meanwhile, TikTok-Todd Cantwell is posting shushburgers on Instagram without really showing anything of true substance over the course of the season. He went from posterboy to a background character very quickly. The transfer fees aren't absurdly high like England's either. I am very much looking forward to next season. If Celtic sign Miovski then we must retaliate and sign Shankland. Two of the best strikers in the league imo. We will be in deep water if we don't do something about that scenario. 🔴⚪🔵

18 mnths at Anfield 0 games played. Ripped up a bosman agreement he had agreed with Celtic to goto Anfield for more money. Rangers have splashed 7m so far on fee and wages to Ben for little back. It's not personal .t's sensible to move him on . Balogun was kept for a reason to allow Ben to move on.

With Dessers give him a few more months if we keep him we can't say our new strikers will hit the ground running we have messed up too much in the past with that Dessers know score goals or ur time is up he came to another country try settle in I think if we sell him just now we will regret it lammers is total shit could tell that from day one sell him if any one goes to a new job it takes a bit of time to get ur head in the game get rid of all our other big wage players first tav goldson ect who are bleeding us dry if they honour the club they will go if they stay first game against celtic when they flap fans will turn on them big time and no wonder

There is still to much deadwood at ibrox, Lowry isn’t good enough end of story neither is Scott wright. Dowell, Lawrence need moved on but it won’t happen as wages a huge problem we might have to pay players off to get rid. Tav, goldson will be there start if the season so we just need to get on with it. Dessers, lammers will have to be sold before our rebuild goes into over drive for experienced players. Archie Stevens has amazing potential same as mason munt We must get more from our academy that’s an area we haven’t produced regularly The stadium, edminston drive and wasting money last year has hit us hard we need to accept this.
