@alanaustin9664 if Shankland gets them into Europe that's worth more than 2M , so if your reasoning is based on financial motivation then it doesn't make sense to sell him for less than European money , but sometimes the best offer is the one infront of you rather than waiting on higher offers ( European money )

I don’t know if big Phil will play him in front of the two fit strikers but he’s a great option for a change up if things are not going well in a game In my eyes it’s like for like in subs at the moment and teams know this and don’t change there tactics

I want 4 strikers at Rangers FC this season. I think that is a minimum requirement of strikers at Rangers . Last season we started with Lammers, Danilo, Dessers, Roofe from Christmas we operated with Silva,Dessers, Danilo & Roofe those 4 strikers combined were costing us over 100k pw . Everyone wanted another striker last year when January came round taking us to 5 if we had secured one. Injuries and form dips need to be factored in . Danilo & Igamane are going nowhere one has just arrived the other would not pass a medical even a club wanted to buy him ..leaving Dessers as our main striker unrivalled currently. Shankland is part of the discussions . I have absolutetly no doubts about that . The most immediate roles to fill though are a DM & CB Lundstram & Goldson have left the building though I'll feel a lot more comfortable when I see Connor raise that Aris Limasol scarf above his napper and grin like a Cheshire Cat ( or his best impression at least) meaning resources are free to attract a proper replacement. The door is always open for Todd ...Phil is going the extra mile 😂

David Affengruber though .. has decided to part ways with Sturm Graz big RCB .. 23 yrs old Leauge & Cup winner in Austrria last season even scored i cup final Werder Bremen, Trabzonspor and Sevilla have shown an interest we have to throw our hat into ring .. think he was on 4k a week last season ..Graz would have offered around 9k to keep him .. 20k a week might get him .

I’m sick of hearing about Shankland moving to Rangers. If it happens, it happens. Let’s move on with that one. As for ‘one trick pony Cantwell’ he’s simply not good enough against quality players. Sure he looks good against many of the lower level SPL hacks, but he is easily taken out of the game by any player of quality. The worst thing is he thinks he’s the best in the World and acts like a spoilt brat when others disagree with him or he is unable to perform.
