I have likened Dessers to a childrens game "pass the parcel" 9 clubs in 10 seasons tells its own story . Everyones passed him along and nobody wants to get stuck with the dude when the music comes to abrupt end in Sept . He'll be the wrong side of 30 and ours for 3 seasons if we blink.

Just because some people want to keep dessers until Jan does ,nt mean we no nothing about football .We don,t no how these new players are going to perform yet and if they are rubbish we,ve left our selves with no one if dessers goes ,he can score misses a lot but scores rather have him than no striker at all 🇬🇧

Tavernier got tore apart by Celtics wide players this season. In the Cup final Balogun covered for him on countless occasions. Yes, his goals and assists record is impressive, but he's a man down in defence. I hope Goldson and Tav are offered big bucks to play in Saudi and that we get a new backline. Sterling at right back for me.

Our problem is we pay average players way too much. Goldson £37k a week, Tav £30k, Lawrence, Cantwell and Lammers £20k+.

Agreed he shouldn't even be in the Hall of Fame. Firstly, no player who is playing should be in the Hall of Fame, you should have had to have been retired for a number of years. Also he doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as greig, Stein, Mccoist, Gazza, Laudrup, Souness, Johnstone, Butcher etc.

To be honest Owen I like what we are doing transfer wise I think going for these young gems is great we are on the right path. I totally agree we really do need to sort out our defence golds on, tav, and Davies need to go and bring defenders with pace talent and who want to play for the club. I am worried sick that we a going to lose again to that mob this year. We used to be a club with money but now we seem more charity shop than a club we really need big backers to put money into this club so we can get the players we need and get right back up there we are losing out in players because we don't have the money to bring in these players. Bottom line is Owen I love the Gers but I do believe we are not as mighty as we once where. Sorry for this being song long

Hi Owen , I feel upto now our transfer business has not improved the team, only because I haven't saw them play for Rangers yet. If we go with Danilo, Dessers and Igamane we won't win league, If Tav and Goldson are still Starting defenders we will not win the league. Now we could be out of Ibrox well into October now. We are laughable just now.

So Owen how do i feel about the upcoming season. Feelings change, but thoughts and introspection remain steady. I believe is business practices, so NK and PC have been entrusted with guiding the ⚽ part of the business the production that drives the majority of the revenue. Absolutely they have been handed a disjointed production staff and i have to believe they have presented a clear business plan to the board, which they have accepted. We will see how good NK and PC really are if they can deliver on the plan and how effective the results are. IMO they have this season as a pass becuase its probably a 5 year strategic plan. End of year 1⃣ really needs to garner results as im sure the board would not endorse a plan that does not include immediate success. The transfers will come in thick and fast once finals of the Euros and Copa America have been played. We are paying the currect players Tav, Goldsen, Wright and the like and should play them and show case them to keep them in the shop window. We must allow the plan to unfold and stay level headed. Just because we play those we have does not mean they will be here 3 weeks from now. Its interesting to watch what really happens as im sure NK and the scouts are very busy and have a list of prioritized players and that the agents have already been approached. WATP

I too watched all our games and saw many too. Everytime Wright was on the pitch the other team kicked the crap out of Him which they really don't do with such regularity as they did with Him, so He Must bring summit they are afraid of, oh yeah, I remember now...... Why is dessers getting the grief? He scored 22 goals in his first season and guess what? He’s the only forward who’s managed to score more than 20 goals. For the past five season not a single forward scored more than 20 goals and then dessers does it in his first season.. and he’s been called crap? if dessers is crap then we have clearly had worst forwards than him if they can’t score more than 20 goals a season with us. I believe dessers will be better next season. Tav is still here though and that’s a big freaking issue.

Goldson has cost us in countless games, especially old firms, tav has zero leadership qualities, has aged terribly, has no pace, and has always been extremely poor defensively. The criticism is fully justified. We need to move on from them both, 6y years of failure.

@@Cutchy99 Seen a report from Belgium saying Anderlecht are in the hunt for a rw who plays in Chile Gonzalo Tapia .. and it states Rangers are interested in him too. Hopefully Wright is ofski . Other name I've seen is Aljosa Matko but we would probably need to shift Matondo for a couple of million to land him .. that boy has goals in him .

I’ll take any player that has goals in them. I was hoping we get Sima for £4 million and Rruhmani for £5 million with Cortes that would be some forward line. I think still need to sell before we buy. Saudi transfer opening date is 17th July. Tav. Goldson and Cantwell could get us £10-£12 million

@@Cutchy99 It's the new markets we are tapping into thats traditionally where Dutch and Belgian teams pick from. So we will bump into those clubs fishing in the same pond it's Royal Antwerp for instance who are going head to head with us for Galdames. The club I've seen about half a dozen times against players we are looking at is actually Lecce in Italy and noticed Cantwells agent tried to contact them around the time Dani De Wit agreed terms with Bochum in Germany last week possibly as another 10 option. Besiktas also interested in De Wit might turn attention to Lawrence now . Most clubs need to sell to kick start. Lammers didn't travel to Eindhoven hopefully he'll be heading for Schipol instead to join Alkmaar.

Dessers not as bad as most fans think 31 goal contributions in debut season not to be sniffed at he just isn’t clinical and unfortunately a club like ours desperate for success he has missed a few that has cost us he’s not reason we lost the league. Sorry Tav is not the player he used to be and as for captain he shows no emotion to pick the team up if Clement who I trust still has him on the team and captain we will be given the other side the title and they will be the most successful team taken that off us too so hopefully things will change in the next couple of weeks ❤️🤍💙

Not saying he hasn't been a good servant! What I am saying is he isn't good enough anymore! He is very weak defensively which is his job. Teams at home and in Europe target our right side continually. Maeda has made him look foolish in all the Old Firm games in 2024. Do you honestly see him as been good enough to be our starting RB in 2024/25 season. If you do then you clearly don't think defending is important. Plus we cannot keep relying on a 32 year old RB to score goals majority of which are penalties and free kicks! The new players brought in are to ensure we get goals from elsewhere. I honestly don't understand how fans can see him as good enough to start this coming season? If they do think he is good enough they're clearly part of the TAV FC crowd!
