Texas Rangers fans, thank you for educating me and all of my fellow Yankees fans that having a few down seasons and rebuilding both the farm system full of infield/outfield positional and pitching talent and signing key veterans who desire winning above their personal statistics is truly important. And having my favorite manager Bruce Bochy isn't a bad idea either. I'm grateful for tipping my Yankees cap 🧢 of respect to you Texas Rangers Nation. Now please win the World Series. Biggest story of the Rangers this Offseason is Evan Carter but man, the pitching is easily the true #1 story. This bullpen was just AWFUL all season long. We would often get 6 run leads and not even that was good enough. The bullpen would come in and just get crushed. Now? Suddenly, besides Chapman, our relievers are unhittable. It's nuts. It's amazing. Pure magic happening out there for the Rangers who lost 90 games last season and 100 the season before. Now we are shutting out the Astros in the ALCS. Crazy

They won’t. I’m an Astros lifer and a closet Rangers fan (I’m a Texan) but you gotta remember that when Texas had their best team ever they blew it against a Cardinals team that is the worst World Series winning team I’ve ever watched. And that Rangers team was absolutely stacked! They could get past the Astros if every hard hit ball we have goes directly to an outfielder, after all, we’ve only won 4 of our last 6 consecutive ALCS appearances, but the Rangers will blow it in the WS if they do get past us.

Not quite in the same way the Rangers have, but they have surprised me nonetheless. I don't think it will be an easy series for the Phillies. I still think Philly wins but they best not underestimate the Diamondbacks because Philly could lose in 7 or even 6 if they take the D-Backs lightly as the Dodgers found out.

I'm not impressed with Montgomery's "stuff" as he basically outguessed the Astros hitters in big moments with pitch placement is all. Astros swung at ball 4 a few times that shouldn't have been swung at - especially Yordan with men on base. Hope we face him again cuz I don't sweat him and Astros should make better decisions not to swing at pitches outside of the zone.

This is quite typical of the Astros when Verlander pitches. It's quite often a . two game loss. Astros bats go cold very often when he pitches. Weird thing. Oh, and playing at home doesn't help😮. Sad. Astros will lose game two , sweep the Rangers in their park, and squeak a win in game 7 at home. Its the Astros they always make it close.
