I agree with QC, this is a work of art. Beautiful location, and amazing editing techniques.

Great editing. You should definitely have more subs. Loved the video.

Thank you! And I agree, I haven't been able to crack the secret to more subs yet - even with my channel having over 500k total video views.

Nice video and editing! Did you have problem flying your drone? Are there any restrictions??
@BrianFisher3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I didn’t have any issues flying in Rangiroa (this was in 2016). As far as I know, you can still fly there.

Man that was epic. Rangiroa is one of best atolls in world. Tell me what was water like, is it hot there in shallows? What about sand, how does it feel lying on it, is it soft or rocky?
@BrianFisher6 жыл бұрын
MasterHaosis Rangiroa was amazing, so unique. The water was very clear, no tourists or boat traffic to stir up the sand underneath - lots of reef sharks regularly circling near shore (no danger to humans though). The beach/sand was extremely grainy, broken down pieces of coral. We kept our sandals or water shoes on while walking. It wasn’t very smooth sand, as compared to typical Caribbean or Florida beaches. Thanks for watching, have you been there?

Oh thank you for reply. It is nice to talk to you. No, sadly, I haven't been anywhere outside of Bulgaria, Montenegro and Greece. And their coasts. I live in Serbia, landlocked country. But I am fanatic for those stuff, I researched lot about those tropical stuff, mostly Pacific. In fact I have diploma work to defend to graduate, and my theme is actually for waters, their protection and damages from protecting life and environment class. So I am writing there about atolls and stuff. Personally if I can choose, I would like to visit Rangiroa's blue lagoon definitively. My favorite place is Palmyra atoll but it is impossible to go there,so from places where you can go, definitively Rangiroa. During your stay, were there any winds, storms and stuff? I did not know that those places are famous for storms unlike other parts of Caribbean, Asia and pacific.

Your diploma and graduate work sounds really cool, it is important to keep those waters protected. Fortunately, there weren't any storms while we were there (we were in French Polynesia for 3 weeks). There were a couple small rain days, but nothing bad. It was a little windy at times - the day were were going to skydive in Moorea it was cancelled due to high winds, but was rescheduled for when we were in Bora Bora. My wife is actually a travel agent for the South Pacific too, if you are ever trying to plan a trip there. Also, if you're ever looking for sea life videos, we met a guy named Simon that posts whale videos from Bora Bora: kzbin.info/door/h7QFqGIo4iYC4jL07VrbyQ

Ah, since you said that she is travel agent for South Pacific too, that means that you are as well. That is awesome job, you travel lot in those tropical paradises, you combine ,,nice and useful" into one. For cheaper prize of course since you know ,,workarounds" haha. Unfortunately for me and my girlfriend, here is too expensive to get there, we need to go to our capital city, then to travel to Paris and from paris to take plane to Tahiti which is expensive for our standards. Yes, it would benefit my ,,scientific" work to collect samples from there myself, to see and research although I am just teacher myself officially (in few days). Oh, you visited Bora Bora, Moorea too! best places. What other places did you visit? I ask about weather since last few days are catastrophe with those typhoons in Philiphines and USA. But I never heard of catastrophe in Polynesia. What are dangers there in Rangiroa and other places? I heard just about two things, one eel which attacks people and stonefish which is deadly deep in lagoons and sea, otherwise it is fine. No poison snakes, spiders and such. What about sharks?
@BrianFisher6 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear about the long flight schedule required for you to get to French Polynesia. We actually used credit card points to get one of our flights for free when we went to Tahiti... in case that helps you get there! We did Tahiti/Moorea/Bora Bora/Rangiroa and then stopped in Raiatea/Tahaa to get on a sailboat for a few days of sailing. There is a full video of the trip on another video on my channel. You mentioned an eel... I remember seeing 1 or 2 but kept my distance from them. There were a lot of reef sharks but they are scared of humans. We saw a few lemon sharks I think, which can be dangerous, but we stayed away from them. Hopefully you are able to visit one day!

Amazing. It looks like out of this world, awesome. What's the deal with the dog? Riding boats, chasing sharks :D The MVP of the video ;)
@BrianFisher6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! It was amazing - and super relaxing there! That dog kept us company the whole time, she was a good tour guide... she belongs to the guy that takes care of guests on the island. She'd spend hours just watching the reef sharks and waiting for the perfect time to chase one!
