"Bark Arts" Yer a wizard, Rocky! The Spanagram stood out to me (once you highlighted "jug", d'oh!) because of a certain Pink Floyd album (wink, nudge).

I think the canopy generally refers to a part of a forest rather than an individual tree, and is kind of about the ecosystem and creatures that move from tree to tree, while the crown is more about the tree itself.

Spot on. Trees have a crown, a forest has a canopy. Unfortunately i didn't consider that when doing this puzzle.

I made one mistake because I never heard of a wedge salad and thought Monticello might be one. Nope. The purple should have occurred to me since I do have a coin collection. Oh well, the reveal makes it seem so obvious, sometimes. I thought it was easier than Yesterday with the Wonders of the World which went over my head, plus not knowing what Sequin is. I took a little over 5 minutes to Solve the Mini Crossword. Pretty tough today. Oceania is better referred to as the South Pacific. Tuvalu, Kiribati. Fiji, Samoa, Tahiti, French Polynesia and more. All those Islands between Indonesia, and Australia, I guess. Strands was easy, especially since the Spanagram used the J and it was an easy word.

Wedge salad is yummy! A sixth or an eighth of a full head of iceberg lettuce with heavy blue cheese dressing and bacon chips. That's a full dinner.

Perfect Connections! LOL, I totally fell for the Olympic red herrings (Greek, rings, sports, torch). But the actual groups were not that hard. (I only knew of Monticello because I looked it up after seeing it on a coin. This category could be very tough for a non-US non-numismatic person.) Love he analytics. Good Mini. I also tried ONE on the BD cake cndles. Toys-R-Us went out of business years ago. Slow for me. Fun Strands. Only "solid perfect" for me too.

i tried crown, rings, torch, eagle, thinking its something to do with the statue of liberty. No idea about us coins, no idea about chef and wedge salads. Complete failure, my mistakes probably made the analytics bot malfunction

Oh, I like the new Connections bot! It shows 3 out of 5 difficulty and a 31% failure rate right now, I suspect checking the stats really early is going to skew to non-US players and higher error rates
