I love the DW3 attire the best due to how elegant it stood. It had been my dream cosplay doing that version due to how underrated his outfit was and I finally was able to make that happen. He really stood out and represented Wu the best especially the big tiger (Wu's symbolic animal) print on his costume and the gold blends well with the red. But his DW9 is almost as good as his DW5 one. But I really missed the days where he had a sword.

While I do miss the sword, I think the staff also suits him just as well since his fighting style is more elegant than most of the people in the games, almost like he's dancing.

@@No-Name0087 and his moveset/EX moves are great with a staff. Zhou Yu has more range and quicker attacks with the staff. I do miss that move in the older games with his sword where he slashes his opponent in the air and twists around to the other side for another slash (like at 1:48)

DW5 has the most traditional, appropriate, and refined Chinese costumes for almost all characters, but for him I actually liked 8 the most (combining pre/post-rod styles with a Japanese flare) and low-key think 6 is cool lol

Calvini2013 has the most repetitive, boring, and annoying comment for almost all the DW character evolution videos, but for Zhou Yu I actually liked DW5 the most.

His Dw5 appearance was the best for me! I miss his manly and elegant features.The later versions especially Dw7 killed me inside a bit.Zhou Yu is not effeminate at least not in that badly executed way!!!

I think he was always effeminate even in early Dynasty Warriors but more along the lines of being intellectually masculant. He's nowhere near Zhang He's level of flamboyant pageantry.

Back in 3,4,5, zhouyu special skill was fire ball and fire sword. Due to short range of sword and skill activation, he has never be able to win against LuBu (at least in my case). However, i think staff is a bit out of style for him, better suit for shaolin monk.
