Guys don't slam your head, if you are buying a tablet for study purpose don't look anything other than samsung and apple, I have used mi pad 6, s9fe & s9fe+. For students, note taking, online classes, you need to use samsung notes that no chineese brand tab can compete with. And there is NO LAG AT ALL in S9FE & S9FE+. 90Hz screen refresh rate is not at all bad for daily activities, watching videos, tarking notes etc. I have played call of duty mobile in high settings also for testing purpose in s9fe+, it runs smoothly. Consider Mi tab if you have to play games, edit videos & for entertainment. Absolutely consider samsung (only during offers) if you are a student or aspirant. However if you don't need s-pen and don't have to take notes then go for mi.

1. Pad 7 has SD 7+gen 3 that is 135% better than exynos 1380 for performance (source: NanoReviews) 2. S9fe has a 2k 10 bit 90hz compared to pad 7 3.2k 12 bit 144hz display 3. @@anuragsahu1437 s9fe 6/128 GB goes for 34999 (including s pen) and pad7 8/128 GB goes for 27999 and 7 k for pen so it's basically same but with a much upgrade. SD778g is bad as exynos 1380, performance doesn't always means for games, thesedays students have to multitask, do research, open multiple apps and tabs, also each year new updates roll out making performance even demanding respectfully, i understand you really like samsung and also lack some technical knowledge over what's going on in tech industries and how much value new product provide, but hey as long as you're happy with your tablet and it works fine for you, who am i to judge :)

I don't really like any brand over the other. Wherever the tech industry goes, a normal user should be smart enough to choose the device according to the use, not the hype. If someone gets s-pen out out of the box and goal is to read, write, casual gaming, privacy and safety, reliability, then no sense of buying Mi. If goal is just for entertainment, editing & gaming in a budget then Mi is the king. And practically any device can handle 3-4 windows of multitasking with ease and Exynos 1380 is practically more than enough for the task.

Xiaomi Pad 7 vs S9 FE+ processor is a huge difference! The Xiaomi Pad 7 has a 7+ Gen 3, that is a huge upgrade, compared to an Exynos 1380 which is even worse than a snapdragon 695 which was released in 2020.

But what you will choose to buy if obviously your choice, if you prefer less performance for brand value, but xiaomi despite being chinese is known to make good devices, that's just my take here.

No offense... But maybe the people who are considering it for long run ... Samsung Device often starts lagging with large pdf and notes and updates ≠ lastest hardware ... Because you can easily install lastest OS from 3rd party ... And i am an engineering so many times i have to acess my notes from pc which is struggles in Samsung so i will be using OneNote which is way easier to manage but true with couple of features less. I will still suggest Xiaomi for long run and faster task management. (PS using Xiaomi phone for 6 years still no lag or any crash)

Both are good you cannot go wrong with any of them, I have both xiaomi pad 6 with pen and samsung s9fe+. But if your main purpose is for gaming then go for xiaomi pad 7, if your main purpose is to take notes watch movies then go for samsung s9fe plus. Battery in both the tablets are good but since they are tab the charging time for both of them is long . Samsung takes more time to change but you will get a average uptime of 8 to 9 hrs on heavy usage like watching movies or using to take notes. I mainly use s9fe+ for drawing, writing and watch movies and then transfer those file to pad 6 when I am going to work ....... Xiaomi Pad 6 is mainly a gaming device for me which is a luxury for me to relax. As adult you can buy both but for students I highly recommend to go for samsung tab s9fe+ , however traditional pen and paper is still the best way to get good grades in school and college for that you don't need any tab.

Onenote is the best app for note taking. Samsung notes might be good but tge way onenote can organize notes is better than any other app.
