It’s not cheTa, it’s chetha- in Telugu, that means “by the hand” pattaga/ battaga means held, the line in total means because your hand has been held by Sita you have become King o Rama. Please check the pronunciation- literally having taken her hand (in marriage).

Sir chetta battaga is correct I think.because a word "chetta battalu "is there in telugu.that means moving together.

Ra-Ga were correct. 'CheTTa-PaTTaga' in Telugu means holding or locking hands together (by two persons)..lyrically meaning "As Maa Janaki held Rama's hands" (=as Janaki married Rama). In common parlance 'cheTTa-paTTalesi thirgatam" means "to go or move around holding hands together in a friendly way", a (slowly vanishing) practice among Indian friends, especially young children.

I loved seeing the little wink between the sisters. Nice to see peoples playful side. I discovered Indian classical music during the pandemic. I work as a nurse, and COVID was an information overload & listening to Indian classical was this fantastic trip to an unknown land of wonder and beauty beyond my comprehension. Pure bliss.
