This is a story of "lovers quarrel" and untimely breakup. Over time, the girl moves out of town. The boy regrets the breakup, he still longs for her and has strong feelings. This is a beautiful rendition of his yearnings to see her last time. Exceptional and artsy Manjari sings Mehdi Sahib's Ghazal with high level of emotions and expressiveness. And correct Urdu pronunciation. Go girl go.

You can't start from high, because it's all of a sudden and those are tough notes to start with. Not tough for you, you're a good singer, but it's always comfortable to hear at least, when a singer starts from low and works upwards : ) There is a verse in the song that is low, that can be used as the opening, so that chorus is not too close and sudden

Great job Manjari ! please ignore comments of people trying to compare you with Mehdi Hassan. This is art. Each artist has their own way and style. It's not necessary that everyone sing it exactly the same. You have your own flavour, your own movements, as far as I could tell, you were always within Yaman Kalyan and were in rythm all the while, and it sound's great. Furthermore, you can sing and speak in Urdu although you're from South India. How many north Indians can speak a South Indian language (I certainly can't). So, you deserve great respect for that. In a garden there are many flowers. The one who compares the flowers misses the garden. The one who inhales the aroma of each flower without judgement enjoys the garden a thousand fold.
