I think ever since the s11 nerfs for Cass he has become so much worse, the effective range makes a huge difference, still very playable but in this current dive meta i find myself playing Reaper and Tracer so much more

Yeah the nerfs hit him pretty hard; Reaper feels a lot easier to have success with, especially due to the 225 hp changes on a lot of heroes

DONT WORRY I have the same problem, i came back after time and realised how hard the games gotten, and it might look like its you who got worse, but trust me its just the game experience overall that got worse, like TANKS are titans, and support characters are the new dps, If you cant play ashe you better learn how to play Mei / sombra / torb / reaper and all the other uwu characters, sorry to tell you but if the enemy decides to pick " right characters " its not a FPS shooter game anymore.

Overwatch has just perfected making the worst gameplay changes imaginable for the past 2-3 years. Tank is just stupidly strong comparatively to every other role, DPS can't carry and support is practically just as much DPS as DPS itself, make it make sense yo.

Bro if a player cant carry a game where he's 3-4 divisions above the rank of the lobby then the game is 100% shit. Crazy that John has to struggle so much to get back to his current rank while other people get inflated by playing OP picks unreal

to be fair, almost everyone in diamond this season was masters last season. So he IS playing around his skill level for the most part. The reset from diamond and above typically just takes you down by a full rank for most players from I think plat and above, the lower ranks are sometimes positively affected by it though. Just takes a while to grind back up to your original rank. its not ALL masters players in diamond now of course, so its still possible to climb. Ended last season in masters 5, after placements went well they put me all the way down in diamond 5. Got back to masters since then but it was really tough since most of the players were much higher ranked but got screwed over by the reset. i just dont really see the point of a reset if it doesnt actually reset everyone the same way, and placements still dont really matter much since it seems to not want to boost you too much. Won 8 out of 10 placements and they still wanted me a full rank below where I ended.

​@NathanGould-df5ts I've noticed that with my placements so far as well. I haven't finished, but even though I've won the majority of my games(won all my tank and dps games so far somehow lol, and only lost a couple on support) it's giving me lower rank predictions then I had previously weirdly.

No he is actuly stuck going up and down . Most GM players are already back in GM . The thing is Cassedy is just bad and he just doesnt do enoth to justify the perma mercy pocket on him so if he isnt insanely out performeing everybody in his team its less resources for anybody els becouse mercys only thing is holding dmg boost on a dps thats it
