Goated video. Been a fan of you for a while, lurked in a couple streams, but had to sub after this. I have been running longsword and then slayer, but now with falchion gone and longsword only good at punching up, needed to try the baseline fighter. Who better than the GOAT fighter himself

im just a duo so we play ruins and weve been grinding out hr. reason i say this is because i know how differently ruins plays from crypts, but on ruins i will say stacking a good amount of agility has helped me deal with wizards because i have the room to dodge them and flank around on them. i definitely understand why the vigor would be more important in crypts where theres less room to dodge and more ways to kite. even on ruins ive almost died to a wizards magic missile and immediately went on trade and bought a dark plate literally from you because i know when i do die its gonna be to a wizard and i want all the protection i can get since im running a little less vigor.

I noticed you didn't mention anything about drinking ale, is it not as good as it was before?

yeah it got nerfed really hard. strength gives much less hp and ale overall gives about half the str it used to so really youre only getting like 25% of the hp you would before

theres so many "damage" stats for melee, phys bonus, dmg bonus, additional damage, true phys etcetc~ assuming i got to choose, what modifiers are the best to take over the others??

+ phys dmg and +true dmg are always good, but better for faster attacking weapons like one handers, while phys dmg bonus is better for slower, high dmg weapons like a halberd/war maul etc. still doesn’t hurt to stack flat damage on those weapons either though. For stacking flat dmg, +true is almost always better than regular physical dmg because +true damage ignores armor. Hope this helps

How much does swift provide? If it's like 4% movespeed that seems pretty bad, but if it's 20% that seems must pick.

Shields and throwing axes/ knives count as weapons for the blue weapons quest. So shields count as weapons right now

If you're stacking vigor because magic res is hard to build, why not run torq of soul over hp necklace?

cause getting the 7 or 9 hp of whatever rarity neck you have gives a LOT more effective hp than the MR torq gives. however a torq WITH hp can be good

Mr. Todd what is your opinion on wizard at the moment? There are two sides of the coin right now with wizard being op and some saying they are not but instead saying wizards are not respected in fights saying people should kite better. I’m not a high lvl player so I can’t make the best opinion but would like to hear yours

@@aldo9351 explosion is literally the least problematic part of wizard right now, zap is better, it deals almost the same damage and applies fire mastery instantaneously instead of after 3 seconds, magic missile buff should be reverted asap, or wizard's spell scaling, we will see what developers work out
