I personally don’t bother with ranked anymore because the team balancing was awful when playing solo, which I always do, but I’ll gladly watch mint destroy in ranked Edit: gave ranked another shot today and regretted it. The entire time I’d with a teammate, I’d engage two people, and I’d die because my teammate had wondered off. Went negative for the first time in weeks.

I’ve experienced the csr issue in ranked. I was playing a lot of squad battle. Switched over to rank and I’d get 4 csr on a win even if I did the best on the team. Every loss id lose 12. Made for a very frustrating experience

The ranked queue limit makes sense. I play a lot of the console version of World of Warships; the teams are 9v9, but you can only queue with a max of three, because divisions have a huge impact on the game, but the majority of people play solo; communication makes a massive difference there. Coming from someone who plays that kind of game every day, it makes perfect sense to me.

I play single diamond ranked arena most of the time, and there definitely was a change in csr. I rarely get over 8 csr per win and never above 10. It sucks when I'll play well, win a game. Then play well and lose a game and lose the exact same amount of csr for the lose as I did for a win. That's very frustrating.

Ranked TEAM game modes should reward teams of friends who coordinate well and learn the game together. Just like in competitive tournaments. The TEAMS that work together the best are the winners. That is what ranked should be. Ranked should not be a solo endeavor especially at the highest ranks unless it is FFA… the proposed change is insanity.

Hey Remy, This all sounds great but a lot of us can't even get on halo infinite because it insta crashes on startup. I've tried everything online (their wasnt much) I feel like a lot of people are trying to play on pc but the game just doesnt wanna open. Would love any kind of tips or tricks in order to make my game work - Reinstalled windows - Deleted High res texture pack - Ran game in administrator and compatibility mode with full screen optimization's. - Verified game file integrity - updated all drivers - changed keyboard layout to US English (Apparently that was fix for some people) - Downloaded game on the xbox app and doesn't work on that either PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THERES SOMETHING MAJOR IM MISSING

Im trying to figure out how you have such good hit detection considering your ping. My ping is usually around 20-60 and i run into absolutely debilitating hit detection for both headshots and melees and i have dozens of clips to show for it. Im hard wired and use a monitor wih good internet. When it works i dominate and my accuracy is often 60% and above, when it doesnt I can barely get kills and i want to throw my xbox across the room. The big problem is that around half of my matches do this, especially in doubles and its absolutely infuriating when i cant overcome it with skill ( which for reference is high onyx on H5) I had these issues with H5 as well and it kept me from achieving champion. It was a blatant handicap that gate kept the highest levels. Infinite seems to be even worse and its really ruining it for me. When it works however i really enjoy it. Any insight would be appreciated

I have a 3090 pc but you go into %localappdata% on your PC then Halo Infinite then spec control settings, scroll down to min/target fps and set to 250

Mint Blitz idk where else to express my issue with this game other then here in hopes that you'll see it and at least put it in the back if your mind. There's a small portion of Halo PC players who use controller and cannot play the game at all due to inconsistency in aim assist. I have tried periodically to reinstall the game multiple times over the last few months to see if the problem had been addressed and it still hasn't. Some players say they get a little bit of aim assist occasionally during their sessions, others like myself have not had aim assist since close to launch. Halo has been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely want to give this game a chance yet it is pretty much unplayable with no aim assist for me. I'm not sure what power you have to maybe get this resolved but maybe it would make for a good investigative video on the topic. Thanks.

343's been making a lot of positive changes for Infinite, but I'm not sure I fully agree with forcing Onyx players to only have one other party member in all modes. I'm not even close to that rank, but I sympathize with the possibility of not being able to just play with friends. Maybe if the limit only applied in the ranked modes it'd be okay? Or if Onyx players had their own playlists? It's a complicated issue, but I'd rather have occasional games where I get destroyed by teams of Onyx players than have those players' dedication punished by forcing them to always play alone.
