Played this a few times, this game is too highroll, she's an underrated item holder but I would not reroll her rn, since she struggles lategame. She's getting buffed next patch tho.

Looks a decent comp for AP long distance pals, with morde midgame and kayn carry late game. Not sure how realistic it is, but since kayn is not played right now and then with the combined ap should be able to do stuff. Now this next bit is just a little bit of a brainstorm but im having this theory people get baited by headlining their main carry, for example, kayle gets bonus as, which is kind of worthless compared to some of the other headliner pentakill champions. I get that you usually go for headliner the carry, because you can hit the 3 star way easier, but how necessary is it for a 2 cost to be headliner to hit? For example morde penta kill might be more useful as a headliner in this comp. Or even a unit like gnar who you could replace easier later for a 4 or 5 cost headliner, if you hit of course. Would love to hear how you would think about this, since this works decently well in plat, but maybe not with challenger lobby tempo.

I tried this a couple of weeks ago when 2 cost reroll was meta because I was tilted, got gnar 3, kayle 3 with neither chosen, got me to 8, found 2 spats and chosen viego 3. Rolled the lobby, definitely good and not high roll dependent (0 lp masters lobby.)

kayle would be so much better if she didnt ha've a 30 second cast time on her ability. as an attack speed based champ she is severely punished damage wise everytime her mana bar fills up and it feels awful. Hell most of the bad champs in this game suck because of the cast time on their abilities while other people just have instant cast abilities that dont mess with their attack pattern at all.

@@kimchijam8720 oh yes both those things are super relevant in deciding what items are actually useful on a unit. If you played this game at a decent level you’d know Kayle has built in AS from edgelord so itemizing with additional AS does not benefit her at all. Her ability is a damage nuke not an on hit like previous sets. You probably think you’re suppose to build omnivamp on Urgot even though he has a shield and passive omnivamp from country. You build Kayle with AP.

For those wondering why you don't build rageblade, it's because she already gets a great attack speed buff and the raw damage from items like Giant Slayer/Rabadons to get through the front line matters much more with edgelords as you want to shred through the enemy frontline as fast as you can, you don't have time to stack up a rageblade when your frontline won't give you the time to do so.

Played something similar to this today. Got 1st place with Kayle 3 with True Damage Emblem, Guard breaker and Gun blade. Was running 3 start Mord as well. Augments were Caretaker Ally (Kayle) , Return on Investment and Cursed Crown.

I've had a 20 win streak with Shock Treatment Reroll Edglelord Kayle with Guinsoos and Nashors. Lost to Last Stand 6 Sentinel Ahri unfortunately.

I wonder how her build changes once her cast animation gets buffed - and lets be honest, it WILL get buffed. I get why rageblade isnt stellar on her. However, Nashors sounds really good on her.

The tech was not kayle, It was morder 3 with Long distance pal, any AP carry with morder can do the same amount of damage or even better, like morder HL with double archangel karthus backline .

@@lee-cl8td This guy also highrolled? It's hard to go out at 7th without playing poorly in this guy's position as a 2 cost reroller. Dish soaps position stage 4 is typical of this board; his level 7 roll-down didn't go as planned, and he was still winning. However, his late-game board was a high roll, so he won. The late game doesn't matter here, though, as this guy got knocked out 7th, which roughly happens from 4-6 to 5-3, meaning he high rolled mid-game and still went 7th? I don't need to explain why that doesn't make sense, right?

It would be like saying a Fuji apple vs a Gala apple. Sure they’re both apples but they’re still different. Headliners have different traits for champs. It’s really not hard to say what the set calls them and I’ve been playing since Beta. I personally think it’s being lazy and can confuse somebody who’s picking up the game now.

Early in the patch I decided to try to make a Kayle reroll comp and I managed to play it from Diamond to Masters. It was pretty consistent top 4 but hard to first with. Mine played around superfans so I did end up with a rageblade on her. It works fine, but I can see the argument for full damage/gunblade from this video.
