I think with Erica and Scrappy it was just too little too late. She was fed up, and everything he was trying to do he took too long to do it, and that's why she had so little patience for anything when it came to him. Mama Dee is the reason Scrappy the way he is. He was so immature and confused lol. She coddled him too much until it backfired and hurt their relationship at the end. She didn’t realize that she was pimping her own son out instead of raising him. It’s sad because Scrap couldn’t received the real love that Erica was giving him. It was tough love at times which he needed because look how he did her. He was seeking another mother because of what he was lacking with his mom and Erica wasn’t trying to be that which she shouldn’t have. Mama Dee judging Erica’s ability to show love or be the woman for scrap was deflection. She was actually describing herself. I feel he would’ve eventually matured more if he was still with Erica but their love became so toxic until they needed to separate.
