Rob went for the boost. It was his misplay. He shouldnt have pushed up. He didn't rotate is the misplay So technically he owes 20 bucks for going to the boost 45:45 Rob wouldn't have had the better clear, he shouldnt have hit it because it was gonna roll slower center in any case scenario
@alberto1091018 жыл бұрын
nope watch it again even if rob had 100 boost an turn immediately to their goal he wouldn't of save it jon just didn't connect it right an gave them a great pass it literally landed in front of the guy with the speed that the ball was going there was no way he could of stop it.
@DanielSaporita2278 жыл бұрын
After Rob landed in the middle he front dodged to the corner. Watch closely

@alberto1091018 жыл бұрын
well idk dude to me it looks like he wouldn't of made but even if he would of made it I think its both their fault jon should of hit it harder an with better direction or at least harder like rob said he cant be expecting jon to miss his shots when jon says hes got it an rob should make better decisions when picking up boost and pushing.
@watchingforfuncarroll64508 жыл бұрын
He still wouldnt have gotten back in time jon should have hit the ball to the side because of the angle he was coming in and wasted time, instead he hit a shitty ball into the middle for a free shot.

Jon Sandman on the clip that you and rob were watching back rob was fine with getting that boost you shouldve sent it to the corner. ideally the corner rob was headed too this way it catches the other player out of position since he was pushing up the middle of the pitch/field.

After watching the full episode and hearing you guys talk about how much you aprriciate us I had to comment... I really enjoy this content, I find all of F2 funny, and amazing people. I've learned a lot from you guys. I usually play solo in competitive and casual, because my buddy doesn't really like playing, but I got to Prospect Elite Division 5 playing with random people in 2v2's, learning my teammates play styles, there's still a lot of improvement needed, but every video you all post I learn something new. So thank you Jon, Rob, and Mike, I hope to see you guys when I hit Champ

@jasontidwell15578 жыл бұрын
What I like: The positive vibe you bring. You are always trying to improve and you take these comments to heart. What I don't like: You have a passive aggressive way that puts Rob ill-at-ease. At 29:47 you blame Rob for this goal but if you go back and look at it, you may find that if you would have been more patient and not pushed so far forward you may have been able to hit the ball. It immediately affected his game play and he began to question every shot and move. You also have a slight case of the "gotta touch the ball" syndrome. So many times since you and Rob have been trying to get you to Champion, he starts running the ball and you swoop in and take it from him. 3:01, 6:59, 45:31 are decent examples of this. At 11:41 he even tells you this, you acknowledge it, and then you forget it the rest of the time you play. I look forward to yours and Rob's videos every day. Please do better!

@LostSkull18 жыл бұрын
and also, that replay you guys watched where Rob went for boost after he challenged the ball. he made the right play Jon. he was boost starving, he didn't go out of his way to steal it, he went after the corner boost after he landed, it was in the general path. YOU should've gotten a better hit or kept ball possession and you guys would've maintained pressure and then eventually score off of boost starving them. he didn't misplay. you did.
@LostSkull18 жыл бұрын
Jon the very next match you did the same thing rob did. Boost starving on your rotation is a good play, so don't call him out for it after you get a shit hit on the ball. he rotated fine.
@maxtory80638 жыл бұрын
I would disagree. Boost starving certainly has its place, but only when it allows you to maintain attacking pressure on their goal. Of course Jon got a crap hit, but if you look at the situation there, Rob's boost grab doesn't really help them much no matter what happens, whereas it increases the chance that they get scored on significantly if Jon doesn't make a really good hit. At the time Jon hit the ball there on the replay, Rob was barely even halfway to the boost, and the orange team already had someone rotating back to net. Even if Jon got a perfect shot top corner, the defender would most likely have time to get a good save, and if Jon puts it off the backboard there is no way Rob can get back in time to challenge that ball. Whenever you want to apply pressure, it is always better to do it moving forwards. That is the whole purpose of rotations, so there is always one person moving at the ball to challenge it while the other/s move back or prepare to make the next hit. In this case, the only way Rob's boost grab helps them is if Jon get's a perfect pass to Rob in the corner, or he gets a shot on net and the defender makes a bad save. Once again, Jon should definitely have made a better hit, and there is always a time and place for boost starving in 2s, but in this case it cost Rob too much time to get back to defense for it to be worth the risk.
@waismartialarts18 жыл бұрын
Jon already said that it was because of his hit that they got the point so the reiteration is unnecessary. Also no one was around Rob so he wasn't boost starving anyone and that boost that he went for was not in any position where he could have reacted to a shot Jon made or made a rebound attempt. So while it was Jons fault for getting a bad hit Robs play wasn't the best.
@LostSkull18 жыл бұрын
Okxer Jon was trying to say rob was out of position. look dude. stealing any corner boost on the offense is always good if you're mid rotation. it does no harm to you, only the other team. Rob made a good play. a good well placed shot from Jon would've given them a few more seconds for rob to turn and continue pressure after boost stealing, OR Jon should've kept possession by dribbling instead of taking a shot on net where the 2 defenders were already waiting. at higher level of play at champ - super champ and more you can't rip shots on net vs 2 defenders. they'll just block it and you'll lose possession. ive noticed Jon giving over possession a ton recently. he needs to do more with the ball.

@Mars Machin The fact you got offended over two letters by some random person on the internet confirms my suspicions anyway. Maybe the O.P is a girl. Wouldn't it have been better to just let the person respond. If there is nothing wrong with LBGT(which there isn't, each to their own) and all the dude said was "tf are you a girl" whats the problem? either the O.P is or isn't a girl, If I was the O.P I would just comment back saying no I'm gay(assuming they are male) Again at this point we don't know, this could all be your own projection and thats why I asked if you were SJW because you kinda came across that way.

Jon, just a tip, sometimes when you have a good opportunity to center you just slam the ball as hard as you can, and instead of going center it smashes against the wall and bounces way back giving the other team momentum while you're still on their side. If the other team isn't pressuring you, you can give it a bit more of a soft hit left or right to Rob or even dribble a little
