Hi rep 400 here pirate is a great duelists she is literally top 3 in the game cause she’s good at everything you have access to instant unblockable and fast undodgables a guaranteed bash on every heavy and did I mention your soft feint in chain unblockable that gets people even at my rank still shes goated in all modes

@SharpGamingN How is pirate a top 3 duelist, when afeera, varangian and centurion exist?? Not to mention like 5 other heros way scarier than pirate in a duel imo. Pirate is just too reactable (The opener works like 30% of the time on actual good players) and her recoveries aren't as easy to abuse in a duel as when compared to externaling in group fights. Just for reference I am a rep 600+

@@fixais9809 you just said it urself her recoveries you can mess up and still dodge out of the way and literal top players say she is one of the hardest unblockables to react to Afeera is strong but not pirate strong and what other characters are you talking about orochis nerfs have brought him down a lot shinobi is scary but still rather fight one then a pirate pirate has every property in the game besides a crushing counter and a deflect which aren’t needed if your good once you reach higher reps and can parry and react better you’ll understand how annoying she is in duels I literally just played her last night in duels and won every single one cause she is easily abuseable whatever pirates your fighting are not me or the other pirates in my lobbies

@@SharpGamingN You misunderstood, I said her recoveries are super easy to abuse in 4's, not in duels. Also, if you think pirate is a stronger duelist than afeera, than we don't have anything to discuss, because you mentioned that pirate has everything in the game except crushing counters, well guess what afeera has everything. When have you ever seen a pro play pirate in any duel tourney, I for sure have seen afeera more than once. If you want to know who I was reffering to when saying 5 or more character stronger than pirate in a duel, just think about shugoki, shinobi, peacekeeper, hitokiri or even warden

This comment gotta be a joke nobu is fine in duels but she free light parries she also has no unblockables she’s super free if u play the right characters cause I know your def not as high a rep as me im 400 so if your playing someone as equally bad as her or slightly better than she will seem op cause she lights were very annoying when I was still a youngling

Yeah I’m rep 400 I can parry lights now but I’ve been on Xbox my entire career it takes a fat minute to consistently parry lights unless you have new gen and the best tv to max hertz and 4k
