Recruit school pass out parade
11th of November 1987
I hope everyone in Rankin Division GE37 enjoyed the career they had or are at least are doing ok. It was a pleasure to know you all for that brief time and to be known by the nickname "DAD", courtesy of being the oldest in the division.
For me, the dumbest thing I ever did was leave the service 3 months after passing out from recruit school after a category screw up, if I could, I would go back and stay. Oh well, shit happens.

I passed out from RANKIN Division April/May 1967 was in the February intake. Our passing out was done an a Friday, General Ship’s Company monthly Divisions. On display for the whole of HMAS CERBERUS. Best day of my life now to my first posting HMAS VENDETTA ❤️❤️

I think havin a big voice was mandatory but our instructor was a taller QPMG and I've forgotten his name as well... time flies !
