Oh my Cow Pie indeed!! Paulie, glad you fed the dog---I figure he was still eating when you made the video!!! LOL! I admit, I do like your choices....especially "Footprints" which gets so overlooked in Paul's catalog and "Only A Visitor" which, to me, is one of the Wax tracks that also gets overlooked, but it does suffer from the production of it's time. The drums...god..awful! Thanks for taking the time also to mention 'The Stars Didn't Show"...but I disagree with you. ...MEANWHILE does have some great moments on it, but I think many tend to dislike the album as it wasn't self produced or self played (for the most part) and a bit too slick sounding with Gary Katz' production. Still, I do enjoy it now and again, and Kevin's singing on "Stars" is wonderful!! And it's funny you mention MUSCLE MEMORY and Kevin's attitude about the world these days. That album has one or two I go back to, but like you say, it is a bit too dark to listen to as a whole even though some tracks are quite interesting and beautiful. Also, on "Goin Home" by Normie Rowe...love the "Pack my....Pack my bags..." which almost sounds like a mistake, but was intentional and done a few times with other lyrics in the song, as you know. Also sounds a bit like a song Gene Pitney should have done. Dig, P.
