I think jawbreaker is more of a companion palette, if you know what I mean. I mean, the colors are on similar tones, so it’s kind of hard to build gradients (dark to light) with the colors on it. You can do it with the blues, but not with the greens. Nor the pink. It’s kind of weird. But it compliments other palettes beautifully, and I absolutely love the jawbreaker color:

I somewhat agree. It depends on which other JSC palettes you own. I’ve got blue blood, blood sugar, and alien. Then I bought both the mini controversy and conspiracy and I feel like most of the shades in the latter two have comparables in my other palettes making them somewhat redundant. If conspiracy/controversy are your first or only ones however then it’s a pretty great set of colors.

I must say that for the lower price point the Jeffree x Morphe palette is very good and definitely worth it because it has sooo many shades and most of them are extremely wareable and workable. Maybe it’s just the way people work with shadows that makes them say what’s good and what’s not. With his own palettes Jeffree really has his own formula that I’ver never experienced of any other brand and I love it. So I personally never had any trouble with his palettes except for a few single shadows. Thank you for your honesty though. It’s interesting to see what others think about things that you love. 🙌🏻

I find Jeffree’s eyeshadow formula dry in general, it’s not bad but it’s just not as soft as I prefer. Alien is definitely the favorite of the few that I have. I find it more easy to work with than the others. Love your vids!!!

I WAS ABOUT TO THROW HANDS WHEN YOU FORGOT ALIEN, but I'm so happy you ranked it at #3 because so many people pay it absolute dust!! Alien is giving you everything, it has some of the most unique shades Jeffree has ever put out. I mean, excuse me, probe? Interstellar? Weave snatching. I don't know if I'm addicted to it because my skin is wall white and I'm a grey-eyed redhead and this color scheme CALLS to me or if anyone else is just UNCULTURED. Overall, as per usual, I do share a lot of your opinions. Conspiracy is one of my favs, Blue Blood is bae and Jawbreaker I hardly ever use on its own, but it's a great companion palette for everything else I own OR if I want to do a really monochromatic look. I have his Jawbreaker pallet! From what I have noticed (may not be the same for u) is you cannot use these without a primer. When I first got it I played on with it on my bare and noticed some of the colors faded when u blend them together or out. Also since I have combination skin, mainly my eyelids and nose can get oily so the oils from my eyelids would change the color of the pigment. But when u use a base primer; boom game changing

I loooove my Thirsty pallette, I particularly love the metallics. I apply them with my finger and find them very easy to work with and that they don't need build up, they're right in your face. However, when using a brush you really have to build them up. I think Jeffree said to use either the finger or a wet brush, but didn't find that wetting the brush made them as easy and good as the finger.

I think I would probably want the Alien palette, Jawbreaker, Mini Breaker, Conspiracy, Mini Controversy, Thirsty, & Blood Sugar. I would get the most use out of those. Blue Blood is gorgeous, but I don't see myself using it much. I like the shades in Androgeny & Beauty Killer, but it would be tougher to make a complete look with them, for me, personally.

I have Alien, Mini Jaw Breaker, and Blue Blood. I just got BB and mini Jaw Breaker, so I haven’t used them yet. I LOVE Alien so much. I think it’s so unique and the colors are so lovely and beautiful. I’m excited to try mini Jaw Breaker and BB!

The only JSC palette that I have is the Mini Breaker palette. It went on sale during Black Friday so I decided to dive in. I love this palette! The formula is fantastic, the colors work well together, and it looks great on me. This is one of few JSC palettes where I ‘get’ the color scheme and am inspired by it. I find most of his palettes to be too cool toned, pricey, bulky, and odd color schemed for me, but I am very interested to see wha else he comes out with in the future.

I have the jawbreaker palette, I looooooovvvvvve the ALL THE shimmers, but the pressed pigments were harder to blend, and the buttery shades are not that long lasting(the color falls out after a while)

I have all his palettes and the thirsty is my least favorite I hate it especially the shimmers but the alien palette blue blood and blood sugar are amazing Formula is completely different

It’s gonna take a lot to get me to purchase another one of his palettes. Everyone always goes bananas over his stuff and I just don’t get it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Don’t judge over Thirsty. It is my least favorite (after the Morphe collab). The formula is completely different. Thirsty is very hard to work with and I don’t like it at all. Try Blood Sugar - or any of the newer ones!

Just pitching in to agree with everyone else here. I gave my Thirsty palette to my daughter as I didn’t enjoy using it, but I really like Blood Sugar and Alien might be my favourite of all the palettes I own (currently around 30).

I just love his formula, it's so good! If I ranked mine it would be based on colour schemes rather than formula so that is not a fair ranking. Love watching your jeffree star eyeshadow palette videos, I'd love to see you do a series where you create looks combining two jeffree star palettes together: eg thirsty and alien, blue blood and conspiracy etc
