Black tail deer was my first Diamond. For me best map is still Hirsh! I agree that the Layton lakes reset was a map killer for me.

Very good list and summary of each map!! My top five would be: 5. Vurhonga 4. Revontuli 3. Te Awaroa 2. Yukon 1. Emerald Coast Medved, Cuatro and SRP close but not quite top 5.

Ended up getting the map after this and it’s a lot of fun in my opinion haven’t got and diamonds yet but have gotten a couple of really high golds great review !

Great review as always! I personally rank vurhonga a bit lower and parque Fernando higher because I feel like vurhonga is just a lot worse than what it couldve been. I agree that we need another Africa map with more animals such as elephants, hippos, giraffe, zebra, rhinos, etc. Also vurhonga's dlc weapon, the 470, while it is PLENTY fun, is very obsolete and expensive to run (again, more "dangerous game" options would solve this problem). I feel like while Parque's terrain is a bit bleak, it does give you a free trophy lodge and a sorta useful shooting range, which is why it is higher up my list.

I must say, as a relatively new player who owns and played every map, my favorite maps to hunt are Te Arawoa, Medved and Emerald Coast. The only map of the whole 14 I don't really enjoy though is Mississippi Acres. Every other one I loved playing in and keep jumping from one to another Also I would love to see a Kangadeer

I love te awaoa and rancho because I got 15 great ones of te awaroa (14 red deer and 1 fallow deer) and 4 great ones (whitetail) from rancho. I haven't bought mississippi at all. I just don't care about it.

@@FishinFrenziCOTWit improved with the rework but it’s still worst in my opinion. Only having one unique species while all other species are on easier maps really hurts. It’s also a very difficult map to hunt when it comes to drink zones
