Pyro getting shadow nerfed because of the PVP mode they had playtested is so dumb. The PVP mode hasn’t come back in 4 months yet pyro is nerfed in every mode. Giving him a pierce cap completely ruined the increased burn time, which is what made him good. Just like gladiator he’s forgotten due to getting its pierce nerfed….

Personally i would put gcrook at first, in practice it is actually REALLY good, level 3 can shred through stuff really easily when you get it, good detection, and while units can be inconsistent, units are still generally good, and while it isn't good on short maps, nobody actually plays long maps anyways... plus theres also the fact that as a SUB DPS, its stats are ludicrous, with just having its bodyguard on max and its own dps, it has even more dps than the accelerator, and while pistol crooks are quite fragile, the tommys and bodyguards are decently tanky with 125 and 225 respectively, which can still do fairly well, and honestly gcrook is always EXTREMELY impressive in mid-lategame, and pretty good in early game, comparing it to golden mini for example, level 2 gmini is around the level of cost as a level 3 gcrook, and gcrook is just way stronger plus no rev up, and while the placement is higher, people usually don't exclusively play solo

I agree with you on the part of crook being a higher classification, specially because it is indeed really good when comparing to other towers and works well with almost anything, but cowboy would still be in first place, after all, he is way more versitile and works on pretty much every map, while will allowing you to get extra dps since you wont need to bring farm with it, so crook would be on second place

personally, 1(the best) gcb (for most event gamemodes and some longer maps, the crooks are extremely reliable, together able to face flying and hidden, and almost only it can be capable of early---lategame dps, with a great price for early game) 2.g pryo (it can be used for early as a support, one tower with 2 uses *note that early defense enough is enough, other towers with a better early game is more efficient, but enough is enough) 3.g mini (just simply a replacement for accel, but some loadouts does not require it, making it kinda rare to use) 4.g soldier (actually a greater version of g scout, can support a longer duration of early game, with more max dps, but some early game still beats it, like g pryo it can also melt defense) 5.g scout 6.g cowboy (actually it does not earn as efficient as farm, bad late game, and its economy is useless when it reaches midgame, dps is not efficient starting from mid game, and a lot is needed to be placed at early game, I rather use an early game + farm)

golden cowboy is great mostly only for solos duos and sometimes trios on specific maps(winter stronghold) but you should never run it in quads fallen mode because of the bad eco the tower has, especially in maps where most of the dps towers are gonna be placed in the same spot as it, ur gonna struggle with money, if u wanna bring it for extra income bring farm alongside, if ur ever forced to do early game you can use it and then start using farms once ur teammates help u

Let me show you my list rq 6th: G Pyro. I really only use this guy for defense melting. He's not that different from the regular version. 5th: G Soldier. Now before yall slander me, lemme cook. G Soldier is here because he's outclassed at literally every catagory. He just ends up being a jack of all trades, master of none, just like Millitant. Early game is done by shotgunner and the 4th place tower in ranking, mid game is near irrelevant since you can just save up or farm for a late game tower, and late game is done by late game towers. Hes just way too generalized to be any good. 4th: G Scout. Best early game. This guy helps me complete quests fast and is overall a good speed running tower. Sure, he has bad late game and mid game, but you arent supposed to rely on him for dps. There is a reason why you have 5 slots. G Scout being so specialized in 1 area is at least better than G Soldier, who is outclassed everywhere. 3rd: G Cowboy. Finally, we get into the stuff that's actually worth it! G Cowboy is the SOLO and DUO carry. His money-making is insane, and he can dish out some pretty good damage at max lvl too. He struggles in TRIO and SQUADS, though. This is quite a heavy downside, since many hard game modes are done easiest with more players. G Cowboy not being able to be compatible in this catagory makes him stuck in 3rd place. 2nd: G Mini. Quite literally just a better Accelerator. It's one of the best DPS towers, and I usually pair him with Engi, Ranger, or Gatling Gunner. It's generally a really good tower. It somewhat suffers from low range though so finding good spots for G Mini can be a bit tricky. 1st: G Crook. Literal cracked out sub dps. Has insane potential with summons and has overpowered synergy with merc base medics and rifleman. It shreds literally everything. Pair with Engi, Ranger, or Gatling, and victory is almost guaranteed. Although he seems like a generalist like G Soldier, he is better than him in almost every way, seperating him from a pure generalist to a insane all around tower. Somewhat dependent on the map, but you are usually gonna play easier maps for a higher chance of winning, unless you are doing a challenge or something. Cost isn't much of a problem too, since DJ exists and good farming can help you get 5 max quickly, which you should prioritize before spamming your dps. With almost no downsides and extreme versatility, it lands in 1st.

For golden minigunner vs accelerator, don't forget that the accelerator has a crap ton of range. 5 more range without buffs at max level. So for accelerator vs golden minigunner, it's more of a would you rather have cheaper better dps or better map coverage. But this is after the accelerator buff lol

Tbf all of the golden skins are good now. They can have very good uses. It's now just based on which one you like to use the most. And my most used golden tower is golden soldier and my least used is golden pryo.

In my opinion, g pyro is great because of crowd control and now the new fallen mode i think it would be great to have g pyro for defence. Also g soider is good for its flying detection and should be a great pick. Accel isnt miles ahead of g mini but unless your playing a mode which generates tons of money g mini is.worth it. G crook boss is nice for early and mid but it should be just that. G cowboy has good defence and econemy however farm is more efficent and then you can place your dps tower after farm, g cowboy is an fun alternative to farm but i think is a bit less reliant. For solo players, Gmini, Gcow, and Gcrook are actually extremely good (Well Gcow is honestly op in solo). Gmini is good because of its placement limit (15), You can get enough space and money in solo to get all 15, And its better than accel tbh. Next is Gcrook, What to say? Flying detect, hidden detect, good dps, Its basically Gmini's situation. G cowboy... The undisputed KING of solo, Good dps, Doubles as Eco, Its basically the best of the best for solo, Experts agree! (Probably) And that's it Gpyro needs a buff honestly, 50k for an extremely mid variation of the pyro? What a ripoff Pyro and Gpyro rework is now something i somehow want

Yall be glazing G crook when its placement limit is 5. Golden soldiers is however many you can, and yea, 5 max g crooks beats 5 max g soldiers, but 20-30 g soldiers beats 5 max g crooks easily. Keep in mind G soldier is the ONLY Golden tower that can reach wave 40 on fallen with support by itself. complaints: -G Crook boss is a menace on the U-turn map. Overall, G Crook is just good, as it will have a full map range because of its units and is almost comparable to an accelerator if counting units. -G Cowboy is super mid. Its only good combo is with Commander, for more money, but Farm outclasses it anyway. -G mini is placed too high. You listed 5 horrible things that hold it back heavily and then gave it the second spot. This is not convincing.

My list: 6. Pyro (expensice for early and there are better options) 5. Scout (useless duh) 4. Soldier (actually useful for fallen) 3. Cowboy (yea he makes money but the dps is mid, i know u can spam it but the developers made so hes not very good at damage and not better then farm, still useful tho) 2. Crook (the level 3 is crazy especially if you get 5 of them, for only 8500 you get a shredding machine that kills everything at early - mid game) 1. Minigunner (it was obvious, hes now good for both solo and duo+) And also what was bro saying about the minis rev time?? Its not noticeable at all, theres no leaks its only 2 sec (unlike accel)

Gold Cowboy is good but not the best gold tower. Gold Crook Boss is less reliant on his crooks than you think. And you can't dock Gold Scout for being a not good late game tower due to it never being designed as such.

@@niceuuuuuu it's an early-mid game tower that sports extreme cost efficiency. That makes up for the fact that it's niche is that it's somewhat less effective in the last 30% of the game. Also, gold crook boss absolutely carries the night 3 hard mode event. Gold pyro got a major buff that makes it extremely reliable for early, mid, and even late game damage output and defense melting. Gold minigunner is a dps-placement efficiency tower like accelerator but effected more by buffs. Gold cowboy is really only recommended for 2 player or less strategies in high end gameplay that requires defense without focus on farms for economy. The real rankings are as follows: gold pyro (for being useful at all points in the game and very much so), gold crook boss (for also being effective at all points in the game with the added factor of units to stack up and cover other parts of the map), gold soldier (for being extremely capable in early, mid, and some of late game with its cost effective dps),gold minigunner (for extremely potent mid to late game dps but at a high cost), gold scout (for extreme cost efficiency and mediocre max dps, specializing in early to mid game and dealing with things like breakers), and gold cowboy (for being an economy-defense mixed tower with relatively weak stats as well as weak economic abilities in situations that don't involve high placement position efficiency and tanky enemy spam like PW2).

Fact is money is not much needed in this game, even without a farm or cowboy you can still get plenty of stuff if you manage your money right.
