Ikr archer at the moment its released is probably THE BEST event tower in the game because just look at him, he can defend an insane amount of hordes, well not bosses cuz at the time its released it has the weird bug that makes him miss most of the time but it doesnt matter cuz of how cheap he is, also at max he can deal a pretty insane amount of damage (well not really insane for late game but for mid game it is op) and now... he's a complete dog water

With toxic gunner and high level sledgers, fallen becomes SO easy mid-late game. Only the last wave it starts getting hard. I literally just used support towers, and minigunners, and we got to wave 40 easily! Not much call to arms. The freezing effect is amazing in sledger.

i was so upset that i cant win gladiator event, i eventually played 40 minutes a day and still cant win, that time , 1st match, we almost killed the boss but whe lost, i forgot that i can use freezer ability but its too late, and the event ended, gladiator was one of the op tower for now, i quitted tds of this, a year later, when theres halloween update, i decided to go back and see what changed just for fun then play a halloween match, i lost and i think its only for the rank but it gives you toxic gunner if you triumph it, when frost invasion comes, thats means halloween event ended ,i didnt know you get toxic gunner so i rage quitted tds again.(i was so mad)

i think after the toxic gunner nerf i would move everything from number 3 down by 1 number and place toxic gunner at number 4. I say sledger is slightly better than toxic gunner now and level 4/ max sledger can easily beat molten titans on molten mode

I know this is like, 6 months old, But egg doesn't really talk about the when and where of these event towers, Most of them were broken af and were super op, Like archer and commando, Slasher used to be named Shredder and was used to get hidden wave and such, It even had an ability, But when below sees something as "Just a little, Like right off the top of too op" He slams down his hammer and it's reduced to a little more then a scout. Happens every time, Event towers are just bad unless they've gone on sale for robux 9 times like gladiator which is bare minimum of usable, or was, I don't know I stopped playing the game 2 years ago this caught my eyes

Ok, I like event towers, and I think that it is cool to be able to get something exclusive to a certain time period, because then you have a cool item that you can show off and be proud of. However, I don’t like how absurdly broken some of these towers are. I don’t need to repeat what Eggcrypted said about some of these, they are very overpowered. This is a tower defense game, which means that you should win by having good strategy and teamwork, not by either playing the game 2 years ago when you didn’t even know about it or, even worse, pay to winning, both examples of what happened with the gladiator, currently the most powerful early game tower in the game. And the toxic gunner is even worse because half of players, including me, didn’t even know the event gave it if you won it. AND NOW EVERYONE REGRETS NOT PLAYING THE EVENT BECAUSE IT GAVE THE MOST OP TOWER EVER. TDS is good but it’s just so unbalanced.

Btw yeah i agree that tds is so unbalanced rn but i mean they should not only make some of the event towers op like for example compare gladiator to frost blaster. Frost blaster is ABSOLUTE CRAP, then compare sledger to commando. COMMANDO IS ABSOLUTE CRAP tower, and then compare swarmer/toxic gunner to archer. Archer is literally nothing. In my opinion they have to balance out the non op event towers just so everyone that wastes time on an event does not actually waste their time and ACTUALLY have a useful reward, cuz everybody deserve a reward for beating an event

Also, I think what below should do is maybe some sort of annual event where you can redo events to try and get those towers. The catch is that people who already did the event when it first came out would an exclusive skin that you could only get by completing the original event.

i missed the toxic gunner as i want to add the game again 2021-2020 halloween events can be good,but it was bad,evreyone decline and everyone wants it as my fav tower,but i got sledger,and i started playing this game on frost invasion event on the 3th month,but anyways,i got sledger that is my first event tower.but questiob: "Do you want to get accelerator or toxic gunner now free?" ofc i will choose toxic gunner that's as i love toxic gunner,every maxed hazmat minis i will remember toxic gunner.
