The lines in the Atléti shirt symbolize the river in Madrid which the Vincente Calderon was located in south of madrid and where the club was located in the first years before they moved in too the old metropolitano stadium so it is meaningful but I agree that it’s awful, could have made the river lines much better.

Frankfurt changes the home kit color because all 3 colors (Black, white and red) are all equal club colors. They had white home shirts mostly in the 50s and 60s. From the 70s on the shirts were mostly black-red. Since Nike took over they are swapping the colors. Another german club that does this is Leverkusen. They change between mostly red and black homeshirts season to season.

Finally someone who doesnt completely hate the Eintracht kit. I know its not a whole lot going on with it but to me it‘s kind of special because I see a certain remnissance to our mid-70‘s Kits when we won the cup twice and Jürgen Grabowski (one of our biggest club legends who died this year) played for us.
