Actually, She-Hulk was the first hero to use hp as a resource, spending hp to draw cards, and then paying it off with Gamma Slam

Valkyrie is actually the very first hero i bought, even before i had the base game. When i decided to start with Marvel Champions i bought the base game and Psylocke online and on the same day i went to my local game store and got Valkyrie there. (I knew they had her, so i didnt order her online) So i had her multiple days before i could even start playing!

Thanks to your continuing endorsement of Valkyrie, I finally decided to get her and played her against Absorbing Man with just her precon. I beat him with 1 threat left before the main scheme popped and I had fun with her mechanic. So I'm more intrigued with her than I previously had been thanks to your videos :)

I find for myself if it feels like I'm actually playing as the specific hero then that's when I'm having the most fun, versus focusing more on all the mechanics behind it.

It's fun that we agree about "generally" underrated/disliked heroes, like Phoenix, Wasp and She-Hulk, all of wich I love). On the other hand, my biggest disagreements with you are Spectrum, Nebula (in my top 10) and Adam Warlock. Happy hollydays!

What makes a hero good for me is how much do they FEEL like the character I am playing. Does it feel faithful? One of the things I love about Cable is it really does feel like I am leading X-Force on missions, feeling like a soldier from the future. I also like that he is triple supported: Psionic, X-Force, and Player Side Scheme.

Yeah I can totally agree with this. The heroes that I feel more faithful to the lore are: The majority of them! That's the reason I love MC so much (also the game system, its replayability, etc).

Really enjoy the different takes on some heroes. Makes me want to give Valkyrie another look after seeing her on bottom 2 on every other list.

Fun time, my favorite part of this game is there’s enough versatility and specialization for everyone to have a different tier list. My top 5 includes Spectrum and War Machine, but Ms. Marvel is on top.

X-23 was the surprise favorite for me, I really enjoy her theme of tag-teaming with Gabby and her cheap cards allow you to choose between build intended and what she can personally do, and do well. She is Mt. Rushmore for me, I like her a lot more than Wolverine, personally. Scarlet is Mt. Rushmore too, but I haven't played her in forever, probably just wait until Magik releases.

I've personally enjoyed Gambit in Protection. Threat management, off turn damage, and insane nuking damage. Is good stuff. Neat list.

Captain Marvel prot is just insane still. So much card draw and protection oriented cards. Speaking of drawing. I'm still nuts over black panther Golden City is just nuts. And he just pings everything once he is set amd his stats are solid. I missed this video somehow. Solid list sir! Good video!

Funny I love Ant-Man way more than Wasp, but that’s what I love about this game. I will need to give Wasp a try again, and leadership Valkyrie works well and made me like and appreciate her more 😊 Some revisits I have to get to are Black Panther, Gamora, Groot and Phoenix

Nebula leadership is fun if you ever want to try. With the GoTG support upgrades draw you cards plus playing your techniques. Might be worth a try. Usually get groot up to 10ish health and can block a bunch.

I currently am playing as Drax in the Galaxys most wanted campaign and I think I would rank him higher, but yeah I understand that he pretty much lacks in any aspect other than protection. I suppose my opinion on him would be different if I was playing solo

Have you tried war machine with the new float like a butterfly card? Doubling his shoulder cannon damage felt really fun to me and leaning into confuse helps with the flipping down :)

@SeanUCF flip down is generally going from hero to alter ego. Flipping up is alter ego to hero

I haven’t tried it yet, but have you tried the specialized training SS with spider-man to get his THW up and draw a card? Also, he’s another reason I’ve said FFG needs to release a hero mod set with cards to swap out to update older heroes that need it (like Spider-Man, the Hulks, Black Panther, Hawk Eye, etc)

We have almost the same Love Them list, except for Valk, and Groot. And shuffle their place for Domino and SWoman. Do u have any recommended deck for Wasp and Groot?

I’ll go to my grave believing they should re-release Old heroes with new designs. Enthusiasts will buy them all and new players will have choices if that’s what They want rather than buying both. I understand people think new cards can change heroes and I get it but the hero kits make that process more difficult. If they fine dang to make full pre cons, that’s fine too. Just give us a deck of hero cards to create options. Imagine if you could design a deck around one of two Iron-Man kits. Put two in one pack and call it a day. New players avoid the “bad” products anyway.

I have some questions. I assume they will make a Fantastic 4 characters. I was wondering will they make it one hero card or 4 seperate heros? If they make it 4 heros will you have to play it 4 player? i am guessing they make it 4 seprate Heros, they could use the other 3 characters as ally cards. I in some ways like the idea od one hero card with all 4 heros. I would like your thoughts or do you now how they will do it?

Interesting, you seems to like Starlord but not Deadpool. For me they’re quite similar, highly random and risk-reward. They both make games hard to read and messy (i dislike them both btw)

Star lord I can do more builds for it seems and I can use more of his kit. Deadpool comes down to two cards for me and that’s it.

Nice to hear your thoughts, but it would have been helpful to indicate that this is a SOLO tier list. Many times throughout the video, you mentioned that you ranked them such because of solo, and in multiplayer things would be different. Given that I play strictly multiplayer, this tier list wasn't all that useful for me, but it was still interesting to learn about the game from that perspective.
