Kayali vanilla 28 is my all time favorite because it smells like natural vanilla! 😍 (so basically, it ain't the cakey or sugary type of vanilla that you find in fragrances these days, but rather vanilla in it's raw, authentic form mixed with brown sugar.) So, it's not that it doesn't have a vanilla note; that perfume still has vanilla, it's just a different variation of that note (from the orchid plant, rather than the usual processed form.)

Your make-up gives me femme fatale from the '60s (I think it's the 60's probably late 60's); all you need is white gogo boots and a blue paisley dress. I'm digging it! I want to smell the Marshmallow Boujee perfume. I love Kayali's perfumes, but I have a hard time buying full size bottles for some reason. I think right now the only fragrance I would buy a full bottle of is Vanilla 28, maybe the Coconut Vanilla one.

I’ve been wearing Vanilla 28 from the very beginning, I’ve been wearing it since the moment it launched and it is the same formula. The only difference is that the vanilla matures, you will smell a slight difference if it is still lighter in color in comparison to one that has sat and is darker in color. It is my favorite all-time fragrance and I go through it like water. The formula I fell in love with is the formula I continue to love to this day. Some of my first bottles were lighter in color but darkened within a couple of months, now it seems like I get semi-dark to darker when I order now but occasionally I will get one that is still a little light. It all depends on when it was made but it is definitely the same formula.

totally agree. It's a top 5 for me and I've been thru multiple bottles. The older ones started out light but lately I've seen some come out of the box already dark. I think it's because it used to sell out so fast they had to produce and ship out immediately and now they have time to let them mature in the warehouse.

My favourites are deja vu white flower, vanilla 28, vanilla royale and pistachio which I have in big sizes except the flower as they've sold out, then cherry, smoky oud then vanilla coco. They all last long except cherry. I like sparkling lychee and silk santal but they don't last so I have no big bottles. My least favourite are vanilla rock sugar and marshmallow only because the sugar is too much 😮 But I still want big bottles because part of me likes the idea of it and the bottles are nice. Don't like amber, apple starts off nice but is headache inducing and pink pepper is just not nice

I am new to fragrances and for some reason always stayed away from smelling Kayali fragrances when I would go to Sephora bc I am just picky and don’t like overly sweet smells. I am also a more fresh girly haha, but I’m starting to realize I like a light gourmand. For example, love Burberry goddess. Anyway, I just went in one day and just picked up the Yum Boujee tester and I was shocked myself that I liked it! I had to smell it again and again bc I was surprised lol. I regret not buying it during the sale but I’m def going to pick up the travel size when it comes back in stock in store near me! I have yum pistachio gelato and have a love hate relationship with it, sometimes I feel like it smells like a bit like a public toilet. It is unique so I never get complimented on it and i think that’s because the smell is so different. I’m interested in yum boujee marshmallow but what’s the staying power like? I feel like none of the kayali perfumes perform super well for me considering the price point. Yum pistachio gelato has ok staying power.

I hate yum pistachio. It doesn't smell like pistachio gelato and the staying power is 3 hours. I have their discovery box and the other testers are the same. Either they are trash or my body chemistry does not jive well with this brand

My fav from kayali are invite only amber ( even though they didn’t restocked it in a while I’m scared they will discontinue it. Kayali sweet Diamond pink pepper showed me that rose can be beautiful in perfume, I don’t enjoy rose perfume very much . I love vanilla candy rock sugar, pistachio gelato ( layered with the sand and fog perfume oil) and to conclude kayali eden lichi it’s fruity it’s sweet it just scream fruit candy. It’s bold and fun and it wouldn’t be my type of fragrance usually but I love it. The new one seems promising I got mine today i need more time with to have a clear opinion.

I bought their discovery set and im not loving them. Most of them aren't my preference and the ones that I wanted the most arent even good. Pistachio gelato does not smell like that to me. I just get rum, bergamot and florals. Vanilla 28 is good but I have other vanillas I like more. Like a 5 euro body mist is better to me than this 100+ euro perfume. They all last like 3 hours on me, are sickly sweet and cheap smelling. I wanted to buy Maui in a bottle next but given my track record with this brand, im gonna say I wont like it.

There hasn't been any reformulation with Kayali 28. Sometimes when you buy it, it has already macerated because that batch was made earlier, other times it's still light because it's a new batch but it'll darken over time.
