The sheer emotion you can hear coming through in the end when you say "you all have changed my life". It's not just your viewers who affect you, but you also affect your viewers. I personally didn't know who you were until the KZbin algorithm suggested your WoL deathless video to me, because someone I watch did a single StarCraft video. I had never played StarCraft before, but I am huge into the RTS genre in general, having most of my early gaming years being in age of empires and command and conquer. Your videos actually got me interested in StarCraft, a game I would have never played. I just wasn't into something that was completely figured out, but the challenges you faced, and the joy at overcoming them in missions done in ways nobody had before made StarCraft interesting to me. I went ahead and downloaded it, bought the expansions, and enjoy playing it now. While I do not have time to join streams and watch for any length of time, I do make sure to support you as a creator, as you've also brought enjoyment into my life from something I would have never known. Thanks a bunch, and keep up the good work.

I was expecting All In to be in S Tier. At first, when it was declared to be in A Tier, I was disappointed. Then you explained your stance on S Tier, and your purity of thought when it comes to S Tier's sanctity. My reaction amounted to "But... what could top All In?" Seeing that there's only one S Tier, and the nature of it... Yeah. Yeah. Although I, as a viewer, consider All In a kind of S Tier... to you, the runner, the Bunker of Death isn't just a highlight of the runs. It isn't _just_ a masterpiece of execution, or cheese. It's a defining moment in your life. It deserves its lone seat in S Tier in this video. Loved this list and the underlying explanations, and looking forward to your future content :D
@eadbert19353 жыл бұрын
He did say that all-in is top of A-tier, so i guess it was just below the line. I think 2 S-tier missions would've been fine for 152 missions honestly, making a narrative about how a ton of different reasons can make a mission S-tier. But i guess that would just be criticising semantics ^^

@Penguiniel Жыл бұрын
if you pick brutal difficulty, the bunker of death is the most difficult part of wings of liberty deathless. all in deathless is nice for the variety of effective strategies. grant used a mediokre strategy that caused some problems, but not anything too extreme. all in could be s tier for you if you played the mission differently. I suggest brutal difficulty with deathless and extermination challenges combined.

@the_kovic3 жыл бұрын
I don't know why he chose the Song of Frost and Flame as the mission to showcase his Reforged bashing. That mission is an example of good reforging. They fixed the bugged damage trigger and added a fancier cutscene. The trick he used to cheese the deathless run is possible in the original game as well, Reforged just made it easier for him to get it because it conveniently has an FPS cap slider in the options menu (a new feature!).
@georgiishmakov95883 жыл бұрын
@@the_kovic go nail that trick in the og warcraft, then report back. On modern hardware, it's not possible. You'd have to do something like run WC3 on a virtual machine under windows xp with 1 thread and 2gb of ram dedicated to it to get the fps to a reasonable 30.

I never bought Reforged, but that wasn't because of your efforts (noble as they may be). I was very close to buying it, Warcraft 3 was a huge part of my childhood and I wanted to see what Blizzard would do with the remaster. I am really busy these days with work however and decided I didn't have enough time to dedicate to it, and thank goodness for that. I get to remember WC3 as it was and not the stinking corpse that Reforged is. The cynical way in which Activision-Blizzard stitched the "project" together to try to make an easy dollar is just sad, and really says a lot about how big video game corporations generally view their audiences.
@gemsofsteel36483 жыл бұрын
Reforged was such a bullshit, I was going to buy it rather fast to play mods with mine friend and finally try for real WarCraft 3 ladder. Tho I have strict 3 months delay to buy any game, not only its gonna be cheaper but also patched etc. Reforgrd was a mess even after that time and at release it lookef like an alpha state of a game, not even beta. Placeholders for some animations were good indication for that. Tho Diablo 2 Remaster sold well even in preorders, this time it was better but remaster will always have such awful cases like Reforged, people just don't learn and nostalgia is hell of a drug. Thats the worst part, no major consequences for a company for releasing pure downgrade of a game amd destroying experience for game that waa enjoyed by fans for so many year prior to that.
@douglasthompson17243 жыл бұрын
@@gemsofsteel3648 That's sad, companies don't have the same impetus to release fully tested games anymore, just patch it until it's playable. That combined with games shifting to a GAAS (Games As A Service) has really turned me off of gaming entirely. Sad to say, it just seems Reforged was another example of lazy cash grab fueled by nostalgia. I'm glad I got to grow up with the good stuff though.

The ability to not only actually listen to feedback but to come up with a better solution AND to change the script to make it all flow well with the whole campaign cannot be overstated how amazing it is and what sets you apart from the majority of people on KZbin. I didn't expect it at all and shot out of my chair in triumph and hearing it working the very first time just makes that moment even more magical. I agree that All In is also peak StarCraft. I hope to play your game, someday!

What a legend, you are the guy who change my perspective of starcraft. For me it was just a game i love when i was playing on the pc of my dad, when starcraft 2 was release i was 7 and it was for me a big deal. But when i grew up more and more i just play the campagne as normal difficulty, and forgot about this game. But when i've seen your video in my recommandation and saw you complete the campagne i difficultly finish in normal 11 years ago, in a deathless challenge i was shocked. Thanks to you now i'm love and play everyday starcraft 2, i've complete every campagne in brutal thanks to you and your videos. I hope you would see this comment and hope you continue to impress me. (By the way i'm french, me and my dad have seen every video you do on starcraft) Thanks a lot.

Thank you so much for making this and all your other videos! This is such a brilliant ending to the series executed really well. You've definitely become one of the best streamers and content creators out there, love your style and authenticity. Thanks for all the fun!

You absolute legend. That's it, that's my comment. Because you've made StarCraft campaign content that has never been seen before, and what you've accomplished is legendary. I'll continue to follow you and whatevr you happen to create, because it was an incredible experience.

You have no idea how many times I have smiled out if pure joy while watching this, the amount of references and little gags was unbearable. Great video and a great way to recap the fantastic work you've done.

Thank you for giving me so many chees to do on SC2, I haven't play SC2 the same way since I saw your diferent challenges. Even made me feel confident on getting my achievments list done, well, most of it. I still have to finish the game on brutal. Have wonderfull beggining Grant!

This video found its way back onto my front page today. And I forgot how incredibly sentimental that ending got. I'm feeling feelings now. And that's not something I do for video games that often. So I just want to give a big thank you to GiantGrant, the Bunker of Death, and for all the incredible cheese and memes you've produced for us. It's been a hell of a ride.

These pictures for each mission got me cackling, thank you Grant. Also I still dig Reforged no matter how much anyone shits on it

Came for StarCraft, stayed for the your unwavering devotion to insane challenges and to your viewers (and the memes). A happy new year, and may 2022 bring more pleasant surprises. Remember to drink water, take some time off with friends/family and rest that shoulder!

all these challenges, this is all for glory. The satisfaction of completing something after going through hell and beyond. That's life, and that's why these challenges are truly heartfelt and amazing. More power to you, Sir Giant G. Games!

the fact that you spend so much time on your videos is amazing many people would give up but you are still going (as person who known Jayborino over 6 years now i gotta say i am happy that i found your channel)

GiantGrantGames, your videos are amazing. I usually don't watch challenge videos, but yours are a joy every time. I think it is the great combination of challanges, that sound impossible to most people (including me) with the narratives and little "speech bubbles" you add that makes them unique. Thank you for gifting us this amazing series! I'm already looking forward to whatever video you create next. I enjoyed going through the most iconic missions in your Deathless Series and learning some of the behind the scenes secrets. I think it's a fitting conclusion. Happy New Year!

As a viewer, I consider the furbolgs and many other missions in this list much more memorable, but I can absolutely feel your deep, emotional connection to that stupid bunker. Thank you for this series, it made me laugh and smile so many times in 2021!

Dude, I love your content. Dont think you have no idea what you are doing, you are doing way better than some content creators that made videos for years now. I always enjoy your content because its easy to watch, wholesome, does not have "dead space" in it where I would feel like wasting my time and watching your video always makes my day better, that is what counts. So thanks for making all of this stuff, when I get a raise, I would love to throw a little bit of it your way over patreon. Peace!

I'm really thankful for you making everything you did and also for this video. I'm in a hard situation right now, but you inspired me to continue fighting. I wish you all the best in everything Grant. Btw, you did save me from buying reforged, for that I'm also thankful.

StarCraft 2 was my first introduction to any kind of strategy/rts game when I was young, and I've loved it since. Now that I am older, I see a lot of the carelessness with which Blizzard handles some of their games, including StarCraft. It has amazed me that quite a few times you have taken what is probably a poorly designed campaign, and made genuinely fun content for your audience to enjoy. Thank you, and keep up the great work!

9:30 You didn't save me from buying Reforged, but you *did* add to the pile for why I wasn't going to buy it, so... thanks for that! Much appreciation
