Agreed for the most part, espeially on Anatomy for Disaster. I think the episode would have dramatically improved if over the course of the fight Clockwerk actually returns and reassumes control of his body. They kind of implied that was what was happening, but they never went far enough with it IMO. It would also make what happens with Bently even more upsetting since it would actually be Clockwerk giving one last giant middle finger from deaths door.

Honestly, Mice and Mechs might have been better if Penelope was being brainwashed by Ms. Decibel. That would have given Decibel some more point in the story (she got Penelope to give Le Paradox the plans for the time machine in the first place) and would have been a bit more IC for everyone.

@@yue1865 if you wanted to keep the drama, maybe have Penelope only snap out of it after Bentley defeats her and right before he knocked her out, and Decibel tells the gang about Penelope being brainwashed right before her own boss battle, shocking the crew into realizing Penelope didn’t betray them of her own free will.

My favorite episode out of the entire series is A Tangled Web because I loved the big heist “High Road” just because there’s so much going on and it all goes completely wrong according to Bentley’s plan and they still manage to steal the Clockwerk eyes from the Contessa.

Clan of the cave raccoon is the only episode where I couldn't wait to get through it. As soon as I started it I just did all the missions as quick as I can so I can get the hell outta there. No enjoyment whatsoever.

Great vid. My one main disagreement is I would swap He Who Tames the Iron Horse with A Tangled Web.. The hub world just feels more interactive than many of the other sly 2 episodes. The mission variety is also fun. It has a train in the hub world that you can ride and that's part of the mission, bears you gotta watch out for, Bentley's RC chopper, Carmelita roaming the hub world, the nailbiting mission where you're in the same room as Jean Bison, relatively easy traversal for all characters, etc. It has everything going for it.

Starry eyed encounter is my personal favorite. You said you couldn’t name anything bad about it… why not S tier then? Also, Turning Japanese should be good. This was the first new sly cooper episode in 6 years, so there was a lot of anticipation for sly 4, and the episode was solid. Loved the episode breaking out rioshi (a little Jailbreak-esc)

Starry eyed is definitely top five for me brother I feel you on it. He’s absolute mad ranking that and jailbreak and anything other than S. Jailbreak and tangled web are my personal favorites of the series and I think it’s the height of sly 2 personally. I would also rank the predator awakens as a C tier. Episode 3 of sly 2 and episode 8 are weak in my opinion

@@ededdneddy4ever34 I agree with you for the most part. Jailbreak was amazing. Episodes 3 and 8 are weaker and predator is C tier. Such an annoying episode, just barely saved by the twist at the end of the episode. A lot of people love tangled web, and I respect that, but for me it's a little dark. I prefer the more cheery locations (Canada, Paris, Venice) and Tangled Web scared me as a kid lol. Jailbreak scared me too, but I like the story of Jailbreak better and having Bentley alone is such a unique and great idea. As much as I love Operation High Road, to me it is a little too long for a level (I think it may be the longest level in the game) and the lack of mid mission save points made it a slog as a kid. But to each their own!

@@littlenolangamer33 Having played each of the sly games multiple times.... except for 4. Played 4 once, wasn't a fan. the characters all act... off in it, weird dialogue. But anyway, yeah, afer playing the first 3 multiple times, the first game is good but... none of its levels really compare to 2 or 3's for me. That said, I think the final bit of the first game, with all the climbing to the top of the tower that's sinking into lava with sly and then fighting clockwerk. That is amazing. I just wish the boss fight proper was strictly with the game's regular mechanics and not another mini game with that jetpack thing.

@@imLyZeRbecause it is, i did a test comparing the controls for sly 2,3 compared to 4. you cant attack and jump immediately anymore. double jumping has an input lag, and will eat your 2nd input if pressed too fast. stealth takedown is too restrictive… and a lot more. sly 4 went back on things that sly 2,3 mastered sadly

Have to disagree on some of the points about Clan of Cave Raccoon. The hubworld itself is cool to play in and the music is such a groove, one of my favourite tunes from Sly 4. Sad the rest of the episode is crap.

I'll say this for Mice and Mechs, the Penelope twist actually does make sense if you think about it. Especially if you consider almost 10 years passed between 3 and 4. The greed element was dumb, could have gone for like wanting to prove shes the better inventor. But Penelope is one of the darker characters when you remember how she threatened and bumped off many of her own people for working for Muggshot.

I like them alot. Might be a matter of preference. I always found it fun sailing around and sinking each other's ships. And my brothers and I used to love the multiplayer mode that lets you face off in boats.
