Jon Pertwee (3rd Doctor) is the GOAT in my book. His personality, his moments with Venusian Aikido/Karate, his companions and his stories were fun. Especially the Ambassadors of Death, Claws of Axos and the Daemons. 9th and 4th are my close favourites too.

I find this an impossible task. Do I judge by best-performed, best-written, best on-screen (leave out Big Finish?), most enjoyed tenure, most encapsulates-the-Doctor? I've got several no.1s!

I knew ten and fourteen were going to be low on this list, lol. 15 was higher than I would have thought. Not a fan of empire of death myself, but I was happy to have Gabriel Woolfe back as Sutekh. Eight is such a good doctor, I wish Paul could get more screen time.sword of Orion is great. Six’s speech in mysterious planet about matter reforming is really good too. I need to listen to wink.

Mine is very similar. I agree with you about Ten (and his massive popularity makes me cringe). My favourite final three Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi and Tom Baker. So we are very much on the same page. I'd probably put McCoy around 6th. His last two seasons included some magnificent stories.

Coling Baker and Jodie Whitaker were the worst Both were Responsible for massive declines in Viewershp.. Besides that they were horrible.= Peter Capaldi,Christopher Eccelson,Tom Baker and John Pertwee were the best. All the rest are in Between

YES! About the Ten. I hate DT when he first showed up, how the hell we got Fantastic Doctor (funny, weird and dark) from Nine to some handsome, out of a water, boyfriend material Doctor!. I know a lot of female fans made this doctor popular, but he's not the doctor we all knew. Despite his youth, Matt can bring those quirky, arrogant, funny Doctor better. Ten is like a teenager compares to Eleven
