Personally, I don’t think I ever have or ever will travel enough to use all my “travel” palettes 😂. I like quads and quints because they make choices for me. You have some unexpected choices. Thank you for sharing 💜

@@MartinaLily I bought No. 20 Silky Chestnut. It’s the perfect neutral brown baked shadow with a subtle sheen. I spent a whole day toggling between Myers, David Jones and Mecca swatching all the brown shadows (singles and palettes) across all the brands. It won, and I continue to be very pleased with it. Sisley Matte Taupe might be my next one in time.

I got a guerlain quad for my birthday, the brown with orange one 910 I think, and I completely agree with you. The formula is one of the most luxurious I've ever tried. I also tend to use each shadow as a one and done kind of shade, and love them! As you say though, the color stories are kinda weird lol I wanted to buy one myslef but found that with each palette there was at least a shadow that I knew I wasn't going to use so it proved rather difficult to pick one up that I was 100% certain I was going to fully enjoy. Right now I have my eye set on the one with blues and purple!

Hi Martina, wow 16 so far is more than I thought. I did buy 2 new releases that I really love and one older one. I bought the Colourpop Twilight palette on the restock which I am loving cause I'm a Twilight fan and the Beauty bay Reckless Romance palette on another creators recommendation, and she didn't steer me wrong. Both were on the more affordable side.. as well as the glaminatrix Sugar and Spice palette that I thought I would get more use of than the new pastel one. ❤ I have a video idea for you. Could you rank your cool toned palettes in your collection pls? You could split into categories if you liked. I would be interested to see how your Lisa Eldridge vega palette compares/ranks to your Chanel, Flower Knows, YSL and I think there was even a Dior quad, but I'm sure there was more. Thanks x

Your eye combo with your top is STUNNING!! I love it!! I can’t stop wearing Chanel Eclat de Nuit. I love it. I will reach into it to grab the 2 mattes and pair with sparkle single. The formula is just so beautiful the way it blends. When they redo the Chanel permanent quads (coming this year I think) I really hope they are in this formula. Rivage and Coral Treasure are on their way to me now. I wasn’t going to get them, but I caved at the last minute when they came back into stock in the US. I hope I like them and I didn’t waste my money. I don’t have that Florists palette, but I have one in the shape of a fan and the baked mattes are impeccable. I love Imperial Moon. I love all of the Ombres G palettes that are the baked formula. I have 3 or 4. It makes me sad they don’t seem to be making that formula anymore and just doing regular pressed shadows now. 😢

Thank you! Yes Eclat De Nuit is sooo good! I didn't know they were remaking their quads so I'm with you, fingers crossed it's this formula. I'm sure you will still love Rivage and Coral Treasure :) Ohh yes, I have that Florasis palette too and the formulas are the same in both palettes. Absolutely amazing. And agreed, I don't know why Guerlain would get rid of the baked shadows :( 💗💗

The latest palettes I bought are from Hermes: 1, 3, 4 and 6. I live in Sydney and, yes, I paid $175/each. But for me they worth the money. They are gorgeous, very pigmented and last all day. In my opinion they are phenomenally good and the best eyeshadows on the market. The good thing is the refill is $110. I don’t like smokey eyes but if I will change my mind I will go with Hermes no. 5 instead of your no. 1 ranking Chanel. Considering that the Hourglass eyeshadows are more expensive than Hermes for me is a shock that people buy eyeshadows from Hourglass. You paid $160 for 3 shades but 4 shades will be $45 more, aka $205 for a quad vs $175 for a Hermes quad. I love Chanel as well but I didn’t buy any eyeshadow lately because the colour story didn’t speak to me. I know that they will change the formula this year and I am very curious about it. The eyeshadows from Dior Holiday Collection 2023 are good quality. I have the silver quint and is very nice. But overall the new “clean” formula is bad. Thanks for sharing!🙂

My latest palette that I bought is the lands of enchantment from ensley reign. I don't own a lot of other palettes. I have mothership 1,7 and 10, charlotte tilbury pilllow talk, odens eyes the first collab palettes from judy and annette, odens eye freya palette. And 4 single eyeshadows: dior beige mitzah, colourpop super shock mint shade, kvd dazzle stick flash storm and CT diamond pot pillow talk😊 I like the motherships the most! I only want some lethal cosmetics neutral eyeshadows as a companion palette for my other palettes. Love your ranking! ❤

My favorite this year is the Adept Flying fiddles. I know you didn’t have the best of times with Adept, but if you were to try again, i would recommend that one. On another note : eclat de nu-ee. (Thanks for trying ) ❤

I love rankings of eyeshadows and top 10s by themes like seasons or styles. I was wondering if you had any plans to dive into any Indi brand releases like Adept, Ensley Reign or Bella Beaute Bar as they seem to have very interesting colour stories and formulas. But I get it if shipping costs and timing are restrictive for Indi brands. It’s why I am so glad we have Glaminatrix here and can’t wait to get more glimmering creature singles. (But I am still waiting to get ER’s lands of enchantment, cold moon and flower moon in the restock all at once to justify the $90 AUD shipping yikes).

Yup and it’s your number #1 and I can’t get this 388 palette, ERRG !! I want it so very bad, would be my first channel quad and I WANT IT SO MUCH….. Of course the blue one re stocked a few times but this 388 nope not one time or I missed it within seconds if it has re stocked.
