For those who don’t understand the lyrics of On the Ground, the way I see it, it’s basically saying that Rosé has been working hard all her life to get where she is now, to be successful and famous, but after all that, after the fame and money and success she realizes that she doesn’t need all this as all she ever needed was there all along she just didn’t see it as she was so focused on her success and career. That’s why close to the end you see her looking at herself in the mirror and writing her name Rosé, but then it cuts to her name Roseanne, which was her name before all the fame and success. And you can see there are 2 Rosé’s in one of the scenes, one being her past self, and the other her now famous self. This song to me isn’t about a breakup, it’s more like a finding yourself and realizing that what you needed was here all along, it’s just the matter of whether you see it or not
