They werent running with urgency with him. That's why he tried to do it on his own. They let him down bigtime.

Me personally: 1. Alabama-Georgia (Tua bomb in OT) 2. Alabama-Clemson (Watson win) 3. Auburn-Florida State (Last second TD) 4. Ohio State - Oregon (First ever CFB NC game) 5. Auburn-Oregon (Cam Newton)

At the 5:11 mark, went to this game. Got a ticket for $130 bucks which was a pretty sweet deal. There was way more Clemson fans at this game played at Santa Clara/Levi's Stadium.

Alabama should’ve never been in the 2011 game? Name a team who could have beaten them and also LSU. I’ll wait.

Oklahoma State
@thomasroyal62603 жыл бұрын
@@burghhighlights1017 You’re kidding right? LSU and Alabama both would have beaten them by a minimum of three touchdowns. Oklahoma St. lost to Iowa St. that year and they would have beaten both Alabama and LSU? They would have been middle of the SEC at best if they were in the conference. Alabama and LSU had the two best defenses in the country. Weeden would have been sacked numerous times, and Blackmon would have had MAYBE one receiving touchdown and only because of a fluke. Your football knowledge is mediocre at best, but thanks for having the guts to chime in. The fact you said Oklahoma St. could have beaten either of them is a foolish statement. Bless your heart😊

thank you. i’m not a loud to say this because it be “ biased” but finally someone who knows what there talking about. Alabama lost to lsu by 3 and oklahoma state lost to IOWA STATE by 6. Alabama had the best defense that year and oklahoma state had one of the best offenses but defenses win championships.

Agree Alabama shouldn’t be in the college football national championship game during the 2011-2012 season it should be somebody else

It’s just that in 2011 and 2017 Alabama had no business being in these games.

But a 2 loss Ohio State did?

@@jetsmetsnets6942 How did they have no business being in them? They won both games and produced the most All Americas and NFL draft picks of any teams those years. No, they had no business losing to LSU and Auburn in the regular season those years- that's what they had no business doing. They absolutely had the best teams in America in 2011 and 2017. Besides, at least they won a playoff game against the defending champions in 2017 to get there that year. It wasn't like they were 2000 FSU who lost to Miami or 2003 Oklahoma who got stomped by K State in the Big 12 title game and still went anyway, where they both got beat soundly by their opponents in the championship games.

@@Britton_Thompson 2011 Alabama lost to LSU so the rematch was kinda bs. Also Ok state lost to Iowa state while dealing with some of their women’s basketball coaches dying in a plane crash. And 2017 Alabama lost to Auburn and didn’t even play in sec championship that was dumb. As much as it pains me to say it UCF should’ve played in 2017.

@@jetsmetsnets6942 The true problem here is one that should've been fixed years ago. It's an easy fix to make, but no one's ever done anything about it: Toss out divisions entirely in conference play and have your two best teams play for the conference crown. That's all it would've ever taken to solve these problems. In 2011, LSU's opponent in the SEC Championship Game was a 9-3 South Carolina team. Even though Auburn won the West in 2017, they still finished the season at 9-4. There have also been several years where legitimate championship caliber SEC West teams played 3 and 4 loss Missouri and Florida teams in the SEC Championship Game instead of the actual 2nd best team in the conference. It's ridiculous for teams as strong as Alabama's 2011 and 2017 teams were- rosters loaded with blue chip recruits, future NFL draft picks who could handle the big game spotlight, who were coached by the greatest head coach in CFB history -sit at home without the opportunity to even play for their conference championship when they're undeniably one of their conference's two best teams, while 8-4 Missouri and South Carolina teams go play for it instead despite having zero chance whatsoever. For some unexplained reason, representing a geographical direction is more important than having your two best teams play one another to determine superiority. That's always been the true problem in my opinion. Do that, and Alabama and LSU can still have their rematch game. Only this time, it would've taken place in the SEC Championship game in December instead of the BCS National Championship game in January. Alabama would've most likely played OK State in the BCS Championship game afterwards. I believe that would've solved many of the issues college football fans had with the 2011 BCS Championship game. P.S: Seriously? You gonna pull the "women's basketball team plane crash" card on me here? C'mon now!!! 😉😁 No one on that Ok State football team would've been able to pick a single women's basketball player out of a lineup prior to that! LOL. 😉 Line up 2011 Alabama and 2011 Oklahoma State across from one another and have them play a jamboree game somewhere. Bama rolls them 'em by 3 scores easily.
