It depends on how long they’ve known each other before getting married though. There’s tons of people who say they’re waiting for marriage but rush their relationship and get married just so they can have sex. I don’t think that’s very healthy either because you’re just revolving your entire relationship and marriage around sex. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with waiting till marriage if you and your partner want to do that! Just do it for the right reasons (love).

I see it differently.. that's just aligned views, not compatibility. I think couples should also be sexually compatible and their lifestyles should be compatible enough so that they can live together. Since it's only been 4 months, you can't know that yet. That's why I'd rank them higher than the couples that met during the pandemic, but lower than the other 2. It's their choice and 100% valid, I just don't think that it makes them more compatible

I agree the newer couples aren't really going to know the compatibility until the further you get in the relationship too. I'm in a 2 and half year relationship at the moment and I intend it to be forever but the first couple months are nothing like after a year at least not entirely. Compatibility can also mean different things to others. Compatibility isn't always you like the same things. I think compatibility is really the ability to disagree with each other and still come to a conclusion together. It all varies.

there seems to be a strong bias against marriage here. i think they are undervaluing the asian couples decision to wait until marriage to have sex/move in together. that actually shows a lot of compatibility. you two align on the same religion, same values, decide to make a commitment to each other even before marriage, hold each other accountable, go through the same struggles together. it seemed like because they went against social norms, people just ranked them lower when they really should’ve been number one.

I find that religious people take their wedding vows much more seriously. I was in a 6 year long relationship with someone I've known for 14 years, had a huge secret school girl crush on for 8 years before we started dating. Fell head over heels the moment I saw him laugh for the first time. We broke up almost 3 months ago because he wanted to pursue a female coworker of his. We still live together (sleep in different rooms) and have a 7 month old baby together. The break up has been absolutely devastating for me, especially having to watch him leave to spend time with this new woman. I thought we were soulmates and I was literally loosely planning our wedding and looking into buying a ring and proposing to him (because he SAID he would have proposed already but rings are "too expensive" 🙄). Watching this video and the "who is not a couple" video, thinking about how we'd do if we went on has made me realize just how little effort he's ALWAYS put in and how little he bothered to really get to know me or remember stuff (like my birthday of all things, favorite restaurants, etc.) I know all of his favorites/least favorite things, pet peeves, mannerisms, little habits and quirks. He knows nothing. The break up has been hard, but watching these videos of couples who actually both care to know eachother, has made me realize how little of a loss he is. I deserve someone better. Someone who puts in as much love, effort, and selflessness into the relationship as I do, like all of these couples. Thanks Jubilee for helping me realize my worth!

Vaccination stance, political beliefs things that could ruin your relationship once you have kids and have to stand your ground on something. I lived with my husband for 6 years before we got married, and marriage changes your whole perspective on your relationship. In my opinion, the married couple that waited to have sex had to be very committed to make that decision together. I don't know how long they've been together, but getting married during a pandemic would have been a huge stress on their relationship. I don't understand why you would rate couples who just met as more compatible. There seems to be a bias against marriage here.

@@erowo8767 Having seen a seemingly good couple who was married in my family that got divorced about a year in, I think it’s perfectly reasonable to say that just because you’re married it doesn’t mean you’re compatible. Now they should not have been last, but I don’t think they should’ve been top two. They seemed to have subliminal conflicts and the woman expressed their being major conflicts about things that the husband saw as minor. That’s was a really big red flag to me that their relationship could have major problems in the future. But I will say their commitment gives them a lot of points to make up for that. But I don’t think that the couples had a marriage bias. I think they understand that marriage is not an automatic sign that a couple is compatible. That’s not bias, that’s actually anti-bias against the bias towards marriage. Your argument is like saying that highlighting gay couples is bias against straight couples, like what?

@@KINGSOP2000 well my argument was none of them had a good reason, if one of them had said this as a reason for putting them last it would have made more sense even though I don’t agree with it, for me you can be compatible but still disagree about the littlest things, I believe compatibility isn’t just having the same interests and agreeing with each other all the time, the married couple had aligned values which I feel is important because it seems ultimately they have the same goal and are confident about their relationship, although we don’t know how long they’ve been together it seems like they have grown together, so I feel they deserved to be first or second.
