If any of the former remnants were my roommate, I'd do the following: 1, install security cameras everywhere (yes even the bathroom, I'm not taking any chances). 2, always keep a poisoned knife and antidote concealed on me at all times. 3, keep all activities secret and don't get into a routine. 4, do all the shopping online and make sure the groceries/stuff is dropped off at discreet locations. 5, make sure family/friends/close associates know to stay out of the situation as much as humanly possible. 6, keep a hidden fire extinguisher in every room. 7, if the former remnant is willing to sign a contract letting me own them (yes I am aware of how F-ed up that sounds, but they deserve to be reduced to servants for their crimes), 1-6 will not be needed.
