I think the nether roof trap was so impressive because of how it came about: earlier on, George commented about using his flint and steel on so many animals that it broke. Later on, as he was trying to think of literally anything to do, Dream remembered that - and the fact that nobody said anything about having or making another one.

My all time favourite play is the Nether Roof Trap. It's not as skillful and impressive as the mid-air boat clutch, and not as epic and intense as the TNT through end portal, but everything about the play is amazing. It's the best trap Dream's ever pulled off in a Manhunt, as the stakes of losing Prot 4 armour, along with the time loss of trying to get back without dying, is huge and was a huge contributing factor in winning the 4H rematch. The music is perfect, the sheer epicness is absolutely unmatched by any song Dream's used in a Manhunt. It demonstrated Dream's immense knowledge of the game, and it represents Manhunt in a way no other play does. Every bar in this play is set so high, and it's hard for a play to even beat one aspect of this, let alone all of them. That was truly the peak of Manhunt for me.

My version of dream's top 5 manhunt tricks: No.1 ghast mlg: it's not like everyday a ghast just floats to the perfect trajectory of the player. No.2 ender pearl fishing: dream was on the verge of falling into the void while trying to fish the pearl from the clam. No.3 crafting boat mid air: it's almost impossible to craft an item while you're falling to your demise. No.4 water bucket steal mid air: in my opinion, sapnap's intense rivalry with dream is what let to dream's hope.(reply if you want to know more) No.5 nether roof trap: trapping an entire squad of unkillable Hunters on a platform with NOTHING!

The reason sapnap threw his bucket was so he could jump down and since dream had no sprint he would be killed but badboyhalo who was supposed to retrieve the bucket was caught in sand so dream could steal the bucket while Antfrost and Awsamdude went to get fish

A lot of people miss this which is understandable since it's so fast. At 7:51 where Dream has that God apple after Antfront triggered the TNT. If Dream didn't place the sand as he's falling here. He would have died due to fall damage. You can even see him placing, he still went down to half a heart.

Bad's ender crystal clutch is by far the most underrated Manhunt play ever. Obviously it's not as tough as some of Dream's genius plays, and I wouldn't rank it at 1 or anything like that, people really forget how tough it is to think of this plan, and execute it perfectly while chased by one of the absolute gods of minecraft. It really is fun to see one of the hunters come up with a genius strat to kill Dream

Honestly, the ones I like most are the most creative ones. Now, it may be because I don't do PvP often, but the Frost Walker boots had me think it is a way to weaponize boots, and I've never thought that was possible. Exploding the portal to lock the hunters in was actually an efficient means to remove P4 armors. Also, the fireworks crossbow quad kill was a sight to behold.

The boat crafting one is not really that special. It was probably acted, because one: Who would place a crafting table to bridge up to somebody, two: Whoever knocked Dream off did so in the perfect angle, and three: He had exactly 5 wood planks in the perfect place in his inventory to make a boat as quickly as possible, and got rid of an item that was in his hotbar meaning that he knew what he was doing. Plus, the server lag made him have almost 3x time to craft the boat.
