Hilarious. Havertz has literally scored the goals in the business half and kept Arsenal in the title race. Darwin’s constant failure cost Liverpool any chance of the title.

Agreed, he misses way too many chances. His goal conversion rate is awful. If he didn't play for Liverpool and played for a worse team, he probably wouldn't have as many goals as he does now.

Up until about November/December some of us were favouring Odsonne Edouard in the starting team to JP but even back end Roy era there have been some elements of his game that have improved. I'd honestly have him a little higher but maybe recent form since Glasner arrived bias slightly. Terrific hold up play. better output. yesterday there was one point he tracked back made a wonderful slide tackle on Bruno G then started an attack instantly again. Looks like he's got some confidence and got a terrific chant and goal song that we play form him cause of that chant which is intentionally and incredibly tinpot but love him so much as a palace fan right now

Why are most people so sure Havertz is not going to start at centre-forward next season? This reminds me of people shitting on Arteta in his first few years even though you could see a clear progression. People need to move on and evolve their ideas of football.

Dunno how Haverts is only middle of the pack. He's having his best season yet, and particularly recently, he's been really good. Personally, I'm not a fan of the guy(as a footballer), but he's playing really well this season.

Cunha would be slightly higher for me (I'm a bit biased as a love watching the Wolves front 3 Neto, Cunha, Hwang) but otherwise it's a very good ranking

For me pound for pound Isak is the best in the league, his work on the wing when cutting inside, work in the 18 yard box, finishing and goal to game ratio - for me there is no better in the league Imagine Isak playing for Man City in place of Haaland, I honestly believe he would be record breaking and hope to go we keep I'm at the club - if we had to choose a big player to sell I would keep Isak over everyone else

I watched Nicholas Jackson against Sheffield United and he was awful all game. He'd be in the bottom 3 for me because if they had a better striker it wouldn't have ended 2-2. There's a player there but his confidence is shot

I rate Isak very highly but the way people talk about him is slightly over the top. 17 goals, 1 assist, G/A every 106 minutes with 4 penalties. Son, by contrast has 15 goals, 9 assists, G/A every 100 mins and just the 1 pen. The only players with more G/A than Son are Watkins, Haaland, Salah and Palmer. The only player with more non-penalty G/A is Watkins. Video is good, and it's not a take exclusive to you, but Isak ranks so highly in these sorts of things compared to his peers with better numbers.

McBurnie far too high still imo. Has had 1 good full game against Fulham, other than that it's just tap in's from someone else's work, 2 penalties or meaningless goals when we have already lost. Both Burnley games this season is a good example of why I'm really not bothered he will jump to Rangers.

19 of Haaland 37 goal involvements have come against bottom half of the table teams, 6 out of his 7 champions League goal involvements came against smaller clubs how are you saying he's had a better season than Núñez who's got 31 goal involvements and only 13 were against bottom half teams. the amount of disrespect Núñez gets is unfair, he's a much better player than people give him credit for

nunez really is a victim of his own strengths, he has a goal or assists every 95 minutes in the league this season which is crazy, to have him as the 8th best striker it outrageous he’s at very least top 5. Some of the strikers ahead of him might have more goals but they also have a lot more minutes nunez has had injuries and is competing with jota for that striker position when he’s fit, if he didn’t get himself so many chances people would say he’s great cus of course he misses a lot of big chances but he also get himself 3x as many chances a game as other strikers do from pressing and making runs non stop quite literally

I’m a Liverpool fan but I genuinely think Darwin is the worst striker in the league. Any other forward in our system scores way more. I’ve not seen a worse finisher than him, the only thing he has managed to finish is our title and quadruple dreams.

@@trylochankhadka10 Nunez makes himself that many chances it’s not always down to creativity. Notice how when jota and gakpo play striker they get 2 chances a game, gakpo barely scores and jota might score 1 in 3/4 chances meaning he scored every game and a half. Nunez gets about 5 chances a game and he’ll likely miss a howler but he scores 1 in 10 shots meaning he scored every other game which is good, that’s 19 goals in a prem season if he played every minute. He’s a victim of himself getting so many chances and even with him missing that many chances he scores every 160 minutes or something so just imagine when he starts being more clinical which is inevitable, even if he improves by 20% he’ll be a top class striker

I really think its harsh to compare jackson to nunez. I understand nunez misses some big chances but he is way more effective than jackson. Nunez needs to improve his finishing, and hes one of the best strikers in the world. Jackson is nowhere near that
