Performance wise, i think personally, hyun-min-jay-bit should be 2nd or 3rd. The one in 2nd position as per the judges should be in 4th. Uptown funk is honestly uplifting so i won't say anything, but as a vocal survival show, the song by Woodz is very hard compared to the others it's giving unfair vibes by the way how judges gave 90/100 to the group who sang that song.

Is this public opinion or the judges? While I love the Guilty group and there vocals on it, I must admit waterfire was brilliant as well. So I am confused with the ranking. If its personal thats fine, but if its judges, I am scratching my head a bit......mhmm

drowning was the only performance that gave me goosebumps! jay and seunghun's vocals went together soso well! also uptown funk was prob the most fun stage I've seen in survival show history + zoom from boys planet

bro? no 1. Drowning- they did the best in terms of vocals no doubt. The song fit all of them well and they really put the emotions out there. Only with these aspects, they deserved to win, it was really unfair. In some parts I didn't like the harmonization (Bitsaeon and Seunghun together) but it wasn't bad (it isn't enough to put then in one of the lastest places since the others didn't have a perfect harmony as well). It's the only performance I would see again and again and I don't even like the song but they made it good. 2. Guilty- their vocals were UAU. Didn't like the song choice tho. I don't think it fits a vocal reality since the song is done for the dance, is the dance who makes the song special so with only the vocals I find it a bit boring :/ But they did really well 3. Gift- Their vocals were really good and the performance really fit the ending ehehe But at the same time something was missing? Maybe a killing part or something 4. Drama- their vocals were better than Uptown Funk so they are higher but the performamce seemed really plain. I didn't like some parts of the song especially when Hayoon sang. 5. Uptown Funk- really a fun performance but 0 vocal skills (compared to the others). Build up is a vocal reality but with this performance they only seemed like people having fun on stage. Is not an idol type of performance or a vocalist type of performance... They seemed a group of friends just having fun in karaoke or doing an audition to a show like The Voice or something

this is just my opinion! I already said at the beginning of the video, I'm NOT a vocal professional, and I rank these performances based off of which one stands out to me the most. the reason milky-up's performance stood out to me was because they just acted like a cute group of friends, and were comfortable with each other IT WAS SO CUTEE 🫶 their performance was enjoyable to watch because of that. the ranking would probably be completely different if I was a professional in vocals, and was ranking based off of vocals alone. please understand my disclaimer at the beginning of the video! tysm for sharing your ranking 🩷

Vocal skill isn't only screaming high notes tho. Uptown funk actually showcased their vocals a lot, showed new sides of each of them that they hadn't shown in the competition so far, all while being the best team performance wise. They served performance without sacrificing vocals. Which is why they got rank 1 from judges and audience vote. Drowning team had the harmonization problem, some strained vocals and it didn't feel like the members were building up (see what I did there) on what they did before, which is a huge theme of the show. Besides Minseo (and maybe that one Seunghun high note), they didn't really showcase anything new. Of course vocally they individually did great but they're being judged as a team. They overall felt less like a team than the other teams, it felt like 4 soloists put together. It's tempting to wanna rank them higher cause they have Jay who is arguably the best among all the contestants but come on... Drowning team number 1 feels really biased. Also I agree that Guilty was a weird song choice, like we were waiting for abs during the whole song, and it felt as if the vocals were an afterthought. But they still managed to do great tho. Drama was a weird choice to me too, but they were even less impressive than Guilty team to me, such a shame, this team could've done something great. I also feel like Gift was missing something (screentime maybe lmao) but my 2 favs were in that team so 🥲

@@Americarnaudyou explained exactly what I wanted to say. Also, I think the most important thing about this group is we can see how versatile this group was. They keep challenging their limits and showing new sides. Especially if a group would debut I would like to see how versatile a group can be. I feel like for the other groups they definitely are vocally stronger but it was the same high notes or same repertoire every performance.
