since I'm late and lazy I will leave some breif opinion only on your top 50 50 - this song makes me really happy (omg ray volpe reference!!1!!1!) 49 - What You Did is better imo but this is also good 48 - I like the sounds used in the drop 47 - idk, not bad 46 - one of the most unique tracks this year, so amazing 45 - yeahhh this is so underrated, it's simple but so sweet 44 - not bad, he has done better (clarx & shiah maisel reference) 43 - so catchy, nice to see korean dudes doing great on NCS 42 - read 46 but a bit worse 41 - NCS had amazing kickoff this year, including this 40 - average Max Brhon midtempo 39 - this guy randomly came back and send me back into 2016 era 38 - ngl I think Rex is one of the best DnB producers right now, his songs are all incredible 37 - one of my favorite from this year, maybe top 10 36 - second favorite from the genre after Rave Teacher, decent 35 - this and Marcheur remix were the highlights from this remix EP 34 - Diamond Eyes' best from this year 33 - glitch hop is back with a banger 32 - I like the vocal chops used here 31 - great 30 - good 29 - almost forgot its existence but it's chill i guess 28 - read 37 27 - so powerful, like it 26 - Happy Hardcore = instant like 25 - weaker Hardwired but stills great 24 - read 28 23 - read 24 22 - Papa Khan did a really good job on vocals, it made the song even better 21 - best midtempo this year 20 - I don't mind Rameses B actually becomes phonk artist since it sounds nice, OFFLINE was better tho 19 - not as good as Sinner but nice, I respect him experimenting with his production 18 - I get why it's loved 17 - it's Tobu, what did you expect? 16 - read 23, this shit so energetic 15 - not bad 14 - More Plastic never fails to deliver us energy 13 - read 19 12 - not his best but great 11 - read 26 10 - Netrum just never fails, maybe my favorite from him along with Phoenix 9 - decent 8 - FFAD is better but i see why it's loved 7 - geometry dash should thank them for this banger 6 - BO2024 5 - surprised to see it being this high, anyway nice return from them 4 - liked the vocal driven part but DnB part kinda falls flat to me, sorry 3 - read 13 2 - his best from 2024 1 - THEY SHOULD BE MAINSTAY I CRAVE FOR IT always interesting to see other people's 'best of' lists, also have a nice year!

it's definitely each to their own, but i think that even if a year doesn't have a ton of songs i really like, it's still good as long as most of the songs are at least listenable, and i found this to be the case. a lot of songs land between 6/10 and 7/10 for me, which is fine by me even if it's not playlist add :> also number 14 is extremely based man

Romeo and Juliet was a perfect score, the only thing is that I listened to it so much that it started to grow off me. It's still a 10/10 song I just don't like it as much. Though 98/100 and 100/100 are pretty much the same thing
