Today I will be ranking 10 animals that the devs have either shown or mentioned coming into Project Zomboid in the Build 42 update.

People don't need therapy for loving rats, you need to understand that rats are smart animals that have adapted to the easy meals humans throw and leave around the place. Rats ate dirty, because humans are dirty. Rats bred to be pets and kept in clean environments, or found out it the wilderness will not be dirty and gross. Though, as with literally all wild animals, you should understand there are health risks with handling wildlife.

I just have to point out - growing pigs for bacon is not as easy as one might think. Those interchanging layers of meat and fat do not form naturally. You have to be maticulous what you feed to the pigs over prolonged time to get bakon. If you don't control their diet and just feed them normally you will end up with all the meat deep inside and a solid layer of fat on the outside. Which is still good. Like things o do with this block of fat are a huge part of Ukrainian cousine - up to making salted fat-jerky of sorts... But this fat is going to a far cry from bakon you want..

there is a difference between wild rats and pet rats... I have had a pet rat. I used a giant empty aquarium to build the best rat home ver. that rat was super cute and friendly. Yeah wild rats are dirty and full of nasty shit, but pet rats are clean and are not full of weird decisies haha
