its a mistake to see the game as "hurr durr hard character because combo", its not sf or tekken, and even on those games you need to have a good mindset, on brawlhalla, you learn the game, your opponent, but not the weapon because attacks and hitboxes can be figured out in minutes and combos arent the main thing because they are risky and predictable, like if someone is going for a read you just wake up and attack them before, the key is to force your opponent to react while being unpredictable

Lucien main since started playing. I wanted a gun legend but there was only Lucien as a gun legend in free characters so I picked him and liked katars. As I got more experience in the game I mained nix because it was cliche and every friend I have was using it. Then I decided to buy Lucien again for the sake of good old days and played with my friends. I loved Lucien and learned katars. As I played I got better with blasters too. I got in gold with Asuri yesterday. I used Asuri because slight dsig catches dodges good and I was just three wins away from gold. Other than that Lucien will forever remain as my main.

Because Axe playstyle is a Dair spamfest and the new Cannon is literally a swing wep, you dont need to aim nothing and everything connects by itself, like Sword but bigger

I've been maining Caspian since I started playing around 700 hours ago. I'm happy to see he gets recognition for being generally obnoxious to use. I never looked at tier list. All I wanted was a legend whose weapon hit fast, which explains the katar/gauntlet combo. I REGRET NOTHING!

I main Caspian and I love using him, sure beginners may have a hard time, but once you master him, you'll realize that he's really versatile. Caspian's moves are also pretty stylish when using gravity cancels. My favorite Legend!

I’ve been a jiro, Artemis, mordex main since day one I love scythe and I love gauntlets. I was super hard to play low defense and definitely need to get greater accuracy but I loved every minute of it. Once you learn how to play you should pick your favorites and go with it.

@@mateusbigornia6156 nah I disagree. There is a lot of minute things that are around spear and sword that are pretty complex. If I would choose an easiest legend, at least it will have hammer in it. Also, hattori sigs are not spammable other than spear ssig. Spear nsig is good, but somewhat situation, spear dsig is unusable. Sword ssig too weak, sword nsig, maybe, and sword downsig, which is also situational. I would say gnash or scarlet would be easier sinve their sigs are straight forward and weapons pretty easy, easier than hattoris

Spear is a literal backdash dlight read simulator. The hardest thing it have is the eggdrop and it's not even that practical. Sword is the weapon with instantaneous nlights and sairs, literally almost no risk and also a backdash dlight simulator. The hardest thing it have is dlight gp gc nlight but that isn't even good so it's still among the easiest weapon. Imo, sword is the overlooked wheelchair, it's literally the easiest weapon to pick up, even easier than axe or lance.

But at the same time, there is the dodge reads after dlight sair, the dair and gp edgeguarding require timing, and spear needs a bit of practice to make its combos true, as well as its dodge reads.

hard disagree. I'm semi-new and mabybe my background in super smash bros melee is skewing my view but mordex and nix are on the easier side. Especially mordex; id say he's one of the easiest characters. You seem to think scythe is really hard but idk it's very straightforward and simple. I would say the hard weapons are blasters and to a lesser extent: bow and cannon. Blasters need really careful spacing. Im not sure if you were talking about how hard they are to pick up or to master. Idk about mastering it since im new but scythe and mordex are easy to pick up; very intuitive and simple.

Mordex and nix may be easier for you but for 99% of the population they arent, they both rely on lots of strings, strings are done with dodge reads, learning habits, and most stuff that new players dont really know how to do. Even if they are easy to pick up, for you, and very intuitive, if you go against someone who is using other weapons, or someone who just has more time in the game than you, youll struggle a lot more than you would with a normal char because you'll be missing lots of the basics. I think they may be easy to pick up for some people but 100% the hardest ones to master xd

Blaster is an hardest weapon than scythe Cause if you loose momentum and can’t get a good spacing the game is loose

They're situational. Blasters is overall more reliable because of its true combos, kill confirm, and _nair_ but could get overwhelmed rather easily if you lose the pace. Meanwhile Scythe could handle things easier but cannot kill and lack reliable combos, which is why it's not used in pro levels. Basically, both are harder but in the long run scythe is harder.

Gauntlets are just harder than Scythe and guns just because they're just too tricky and really hard to mastered like did you know how much the dlight nair rec/dair on the ground is a hard combo and the gauntlets's matche up is just the most difficult because of heavy weapons and spacing weapons like guns but the Scythe is tricky too but have a better match up than gauntlets

I feel like Orion is one of those Legends that is simple, but if you master his spear, you are unstoppable. Edit: I also felt that this chart is inaccurate according to my opinion. A LOT of the Legends were misplaced like Xull, Caspian, and Lin Fei. I think Xull is Very Hard, Lin Fei is Extremely easy because her sigs are spammed, and Caspian is Extremely hard because his sigs are easy to do damage and kill with.

I would say Caspian is very easy, he was the first character I used and I am in gold within one week of playing, no practice needed, his katars were hard to use at first though. Edit: i realized this was from 2020, not 2021, Caspian probably got better since 2020

tbh i dont think gaunts is difficult to pick up, i think nix should really be the only one in that final catagory and even then blasters can be picked up and learned once you have just a bit of experience

Well they both have very good weapons among the best of any legend that has them and great sigs accompanying them. They’re definitely hard to play but very rewarding and definitely some of the best legends in the game making their difficulty worth it

My first main and purchase is Yumiko, I chose her at first because she is cool lmao. And she could laid a fire trap which is good for combo's. And then my second main legend is Amber. Good signature, _pretty good for spamming :),_ and the katars is sick. After several months, I switch Amber into Artemis, I found out she have a good a lance and she is my first scythe legend. Right now, I main Yumiko and Artemis, Pretty surprising both of them being put in the hard list. I enjoyed your video. Wait why my main is all females-

Not me downloading the game and falling in love with scythe immediately, having Mordex on rotation and literally mailing maining for 3 months before mailing nix for 2 or 3 weeks, then moving onto fait for a while and then jiro for a long time, uninstalled for a month for personal reasons and came back to main artemis for a while and then using lin fei for a week purely for achievements and now learning volkov while still using artemis mainly. Fr I love scythe it feels so clean being able to bully people if you get the strings right. Funnily enough though I'm still flicking between low gold and top silver :*

I've always been a gauntlets main and I'm pretty good with scythe so maybe it's just the way I play but nix is a really easy legend, unless you meant for beginners because blasters aren't the best considering the spacing you usually have to learn
