Bo3 in 12th place is actually crazy. Edit: infection, combine, Hunted, Fringe, Stronghold and breach were all bangers. No CoD matches it in terms of how beautiful and diverse in settings the maps were too.

​@@SleepyjoeOGIt honestly isn't. BO1 maps are obviosly great and way more iconic, but BO3 maps feel more consistent in flow and size. BO1 still had some issues with camping spots and verticality on some maps, and a lot of the lanes were a little too open. This was back when Treyarch was still trying to find their style which they perfected in BO2. In BO3 they really knew what they were doing and it shows.

I honestly love this call of duties maps. Maybe new generation got used to modern maps but I feel like they captured the old feel of 3 lane maps that were made to be good with this game. Important old beloved maps usually doesn’t work for some reason.

If BO6 is not at the bottom 3, this list is wrong. No, BO6's maps aren't fine at all. Because they were designed with the most chaotic and fastest movement in the series so the maps being small and chaotic make the game have miserable flow. It's like playing Shipment/shoothouse all the time and it's nearly unplayable with the SBMM

I’d have mw2 at one and cod 4 at 3. As someone who used to prefer iw multiplayers (like 10 years ago, can’t stand mw19 and 22 mp), I feel that one thing iw had over treyarch was the map selection and how they encouraged all playstyles without making any too overpowered. But, both studios made great games back then so it can go either way

Yeah, as much as I love BO4, that's kind of a problem with BO4 in generally. It's so focused on making everything competitve, consistent and balanced that it loses some of the playfulness, variety and fun of the older CODs.
