If you have one of the "training manuals" in your inventory it can bug out and prevent you from feeding the critters. Take that out of your inventory and it should correct that for you.

I really have been wanting to buy dreamlight valley it looks really fun! I was just wondering if the normal one and the deluxe one (I don’t know if it’s called that lol) is a big difference.

I have the deluxe one, but I’m pretty sure the only difference is some exclusive items you get when you first boot the game up. It’s just clothes and furniture though, not anything to do with the actual story! 🥰
