32:54 You did mention how some episodes are so far removed from the premise that you can question its canonicity, but that's one of the many aspects I love about the show, in my mind, it's the perfect story of "It's not the destination, it's the journey" with the trio growing bonds with each other, and developing throughout the many situations they end up in. Also, this Episode has to be canon because it introduces Ki, which Sara and Kariya utilize.

That's true. The possibly "non-canon" episodes really do help to emphasize the importance of the journey and not the destination. And I'm sure Lethal Lunacy is canon for the reason you stated. The only episodes I'm not really sure actually happened are the Baseball Blues and Cosmic Collisions.

Just finished Samurai Champloo with my parents! I absolutely LOVED IT! Was waiting to watch this video for the finale- Those last two episodes really made me realise just how much I love these characters, Jin especially, he's probably my favorite of the trio. All I want is for them to be happy in their lives and eat food! (Also, I like tierlists, icebergs too, not really sure why people dislike them, ig because they can be overused? Kinda like you said, they're an entertaining and quick way to describe topics. Even if you make a tierlist video and only 3 people like it, I'll 100% be one of them.)

I feel like you can keep your statement of keeping Gamblers and Gallantry as the best episode but ranking Evanescent Encounter higher as it is a finale, and has way more resposiblity of showing way more than a regular episode. I am glad that Evanescent Encounter is a good ending too because there are a lot of great series that end on a sour note.

Thanks for putting me at ease about that while change in ranking 😭. But yeah, that's how I feel about it. It's hard to compare one great episode to a great 3 part finale that wraps up the entire story so well

@chillreview636 Alright, appreciated.. to start I would like to say; Champloo and the Boondocks are my two all time favourite shows as well. So I obviously digg watching your channel. For me when I first watched Champloo, I remember watching the first few episodes in the English dub, loving it. But than that episode with that Dutch man came up. All those elements from that episode blew me away. The moment they started speaking Dutch (my native tongue) and they didn't dub that, I was like damn this show isn't playing. And it only built after that; The episode with Jin in the rain. The episode with the weed, the graffiti episode, all those subculture elements that the show used. The for the most part historical accuracy. The episode with the monk and the Shaolin villain. Of course the OST is beyond next level the entire show. To many to mention actually. I don't like the zombie episode that much and the episode with the 'Big guy' is a bit to silly for my taste.

@@Tofu.87 Interesting. I was always curious to know if they were really speaking Dutch in that episode, so it's cool have that confirmed. And I think I understand your tastes a little better now too. I'd say that only episode I'm not so crazy about that you really like is the graffiti one, but I can definitely see why you and other people like it. Thanks for sharing my guy
