I think the reason why so many of them are not working is because they are very old. From the wikia : "Artifacts are manifestations of memories and ideals. Artifacts often take the form of items from bygone days, and their previous owners are usually described in the artifacts' descriptions."

If you do any of the others for some reason, maybe for circlets you could rank them on if you’d wear them. And then for feathers maybe you could rank them on how functional they’d be as feathers on birds? IDK I’m just waffling I don’t really know how one would rank them all I know is wise doctors pinion is Pog because it’s about Dottore and Dottore is cool so it has Dottore privilege. And honestly IDK how you rank the flowers though other then maybe by how pretty they are. Also some are just metal and not real flowers so that could work too I guess

I don't think you can rate feathers that way because most of them don't belong to birds, like even the Ancient Name is a feather, but it's a feather-shaped artifact. It may be worth rate the appearance and how their owners used their feather because some use it for writing, for example.

Regarding the Traveling Doctor's Pocket Watch - i have not recently brushed up on the lore so i could be misguided here, but it's possible it doesn't need hands for its job (though it doesn't necessarily need a face either)... Modern medical professionals need clocks that accurately count seconds to measure things like how fast an IV delivers medicine, etc. Therefore, a highly accurate instrument could accomplish that with ticking alone. My explanation may be a little lacking, my info is secondhand (pun not intended) but i know a nurse who rules out any watch that can't count seconds for that reason. Anyway i look forward to a hat ranking, these are fun.

Yeah sundials are kinda plot relevant for the exact reason that they don’t work at night. Or underground. Noticed how underground areas are not considered part of Teyvat? “Head back to Teyvat” it says. Time is abnormal in perpetually dark places like Enkanomiya and the Chasm. Shadows and light are such an underrated theme in the whole story.

As someone who has used hourglasses, yes, it important to be able to put it down, made the right call for those. Noblesse Oblige's Sands BELONGS in the Pog Watch tier, absolutely. Songs of Days Past's Sands is a bell tho?? boo! not a watch tier!! Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City's Sands is definitely the best sundial, I agree I agree
