He definitely loses the gentle giant and idiot savant traits in Prime. Guy is just kind of a generic tough guy with a small soft side, and just normal intelligence. No kinda dumb in general while being a technical genius

My version of Hound was originally inspired from his Bayverse counterpart before I decided to make him resemble his G1 counterpart (mainly to avoid confusion with Bulkhead). Speaking of which, my version of Bulkhead carries tons of weapons like Bayverse Hound...

Bayverse Hound is my personal favorite especialy in AOE and TLK not just because him being somewhat resembling G1 while also being it's own thing, but He's the only AOE Autobot i really like and enjoy seeing on screen because he feels like an actual character. I honestly prefer him over Ironhide any day

that hound that turns into that odd cart, it's actually a train car called a caboose, which was used as that last car of a train, if you've ever seen a toy train set, you'd see it as the last car connected to the train, also, the live action movie hound was originally supposed to be bulkhead but Michael bay liked the name hound better

I even drew my own version of animated Hound. Take the official head and then used Animated Swindle Body to make my version of Animated Hound, and I also made him an Elite Guard Drill Sargent who speak with a voice impression of R. Lee Ermey.

Hound was my favorite Autobot in AoE and was my first introduction to the character. Though I understand the that he has more similarities with Bulkhead design wise, it seems his personality would be closer to Kup; with his gruff and battle-hardened demeanor, so it's more of a combination of traits from different characters.

I adore Hound, no matter what design, but the Prime concept art version of him is definitely one of my favorites, with Siege being a close second. It's really cool to see how he has been updated and reinterpreted. I definitely don't see Bayverse Hound as the same character as G1, but I still really like Bayverse, and his characterization, though I honestly think Bay Hound could have worked more as Roadbuster what with all the guns he has.

What I think they did with Hound in particular was they realized how dumb it was to kill off Ironhide, one of their only remotely likable Autobot characters, so they just tried to invent a quick replacement

Probably in the G.I., Joe Transformers crossover movie will probably see hound . I like G1 hound and and war for Cybertron hound and probably did g.l joe crossover action figure .
