I've just finished my Jane Austen class that I took this quarter, and it was just so much fun - we read around ~100 pages for each class and had in-depth discussions during seminars, so I got a lot of exposure to Austen's ideas, historical context, craft, etc these past few months! We didn't have the time to read Austen's other non-novel works, but we read Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Northanger Abbey, and Persuasion.
These are all just my opinions and could completely differ from other rankings, but here's how I'd put them. Thanks so much for watching!

Have you watched the 1995 BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice? It's a million times better than the 2005 movie.

That is what happens to me too. I get lost reading what is going on when I read a hard book. Have you read Little Women? Is it good? Good luck with your studies and life. ❤

Hi Makayla, did you get to reread Little Women? It's interesting but I can't decide either Beth or Jo. Jo is funny and Beth has a humble nature. Which one is your favorite?

So sorry for my late reply!! Hmm between those two, probably Jo (because I love that she's a writer, and also her complicated feelings about love throughout the book). Overall, though, if I were to pick a favorite among all four sisters, it would be Amy! How about you?

@@MakaylaMacGregor Ooooh yes that is a hard one. I love how Amy began to pray and change. I never had a hard decision to pick a character before, LOL!! They are all unique. I'm amazed the how the author did that. But I remember reading that she based it loosely on her life with her siblings, if that is correct. Forgot to answer your question hehe. I think I pick Amy too because of how she chose to try to change. While all that went on with her sisters, she was living her childhood until Beth's sickness made her wake up and see why she was separated for a while for her own safety. Aw no worries about replying late. I totally understand how busy you are and it's good to spend time with loved ones. I'm truly grateful for receiving your replies. This was fun! 👍☺️

Hi Makayla MacGregor, I'm an Asian minority fitting into the educationally and economically successful, hardworking, deferential to authority in USA, and I work really hard to serve the interests of the White majority. Do you think I'm morally accepted?🤔
