Also black holes everywhere, which you literally can't ever escape from (if you were to survive somehow). To be fair, most "Galaxies" shouldn't even exist and practically be replaced by one black hole if these would realistically suck up matter.

Let’s not forget how the castles in Super Mario Bros have no windows or anything for ventilation inside. The heat from the lava is trapped inside of these castles and walking into one would be like walking into a literal oven. You will be cooked alive within seconds of entering one.

I'm kind of surprised that the Galaxy games were ranked so high. I mean, there's literal black holes everywhere. You can't get much more dangerous than that. I suppose if you stay in the hubs, it'd be pretty safe, but if you ever leave them, you're asking for big trouble.

Outer Space in general is as dangerous as it gets. You constantly have to worry about oxygen, in addition to food and water, which would be even harder to come by. Furthermore, you always risk leaving a planet's or structure's gravitational field (which tend to be pretty damn small in the game) and float into the endless void.

I think that you forgot what Is the least safest object in the entire Mario series and it's present in NSMB2: its Warp Cannons. They are probably even worse than the Wormholes in the Galaxy games. Those Warp Cannons, instead of shooting you into the sky, shoot you on the ground making you run so fast that you break the space-time continuum and warping you into the Sub-Space of SMB2

The galaxy games are for sure the most dangerous. Being that close to multiple black holes at all times already puts it number 1. Also you start in a meteor shower and galaxy one has you floating in space from being blasted away without oxygen. Good video!!!

This could make for a really interesting mini-series. You could rank how safe/dangerous the settings of other kinds of games are. Paper Mario games, Mario and Luigi games, maybe even versions of Planet Popstar from Kirby games or locations in Hyrule from Zelda games. I also wonder how safe the Mushroom Kingdom from The Super Mario Bros. Movie would be to live in. The city is breathtaking and they at least have fruit as another food source. The only severe danger would probably be Bowser and the Koopa Troop being a very powerful and threatening military,but there’s plenty of community to work together with to stop them. I’d just pick the comet observatory, it’s pretty to look at, there are loads of Lumas as well as Rosalina so you’ll never be alone, star bits taste like honey which is easily nothing to complain about, if you do fall off you’ll just be brought back on, lots of books and other implied activities so that your brain will always be stimulated and a nice comfy bed (assuming Rosalina is willing to share. The only downside I can think of is time. The observatory is in space and it’s constantly night time in space so it will mess with when I know i need to go to sleep.
