Slasher should be in high a tier, as the knife throw spam is insane. Gladiator goes into B, as it's been falling off due to its mediocre single target and shotgunner just being better. Sledger goes down to C tier, as it's way too expensive for what it does.

Sledger is actually *very* good if you spam them across a long path. They are relatively cheap, and even at lvl 0, you can freeze enemies up to 80%. By spreading 6 lvl 0 sledgers across a path, you basically get unnerfed toxic gunner.

They should buff Gladiator and Sledger. Gladiator used to be a tower for speedrunning the old fallen mode. Sledger used to be a great stalling tower and cheap. It's freeze used to be 2s. They removed his role as a support tower and gave him more DPS and make it expensive.. Also Sledger's Ice now has Ice spikes. I don't know what's the purpose of it but I notice Fallen king got 2x damaged from a sledger while touchung the spikes. The Ice spikes appear on level 4 and 5. SLEDGER WAS BETTER BEFORE THE REWORK!!

Good video, especially with the analysis of the event towers, but something I never get is why shotgunner is never included in these discussions. Sure shotgunner uses a gun but it has everything that defines melee towers. The cheap price, burst damage, short range, and mid-late potential are still in shotgunner. On top of that most if not all people watching this video will have shotgunner and you could’ve compared it to the pretty similar gladiator

S Tier (Meta towers): No melee towers deserve this spot. G soldier would be an example of a meta tower, and yeah, it practically solos all the melee towers. A Tier (Great) Brawler & Warden. Both of these stun & have stun immunity, and I do think I’d be amazed if I tried these towers out in a fallen match. However, they have problems. Brawler literally doesn’t have HD, basically permanently regulating this tower as support with some extra DPS. Meanwhile, warden has DPS, HD, & stunning, but because it costs too much to place for the early game, it’s also kinda been regulated to support. Seriously, why are the devs trying to make warden & brawler melee electroshockers? JUST ALLOW THEM TO ACTUALLY DEFEND IN EITHER THE EARLY OR LATE GAME. B Tier (Good): Unsurprisingly, gladiator goes here. It’s only legitimate use is for speedrunning molten mode (which can be for testing out late game DPS towers), which it does do well to be fair. Other than that, it’s useless. C Tier (Gets job done barely): Slasher. Yeah… the devs must’ve tried balancing slasher around gladiator, when gladiator is already balanced based on legacy fallen, not current fallen. This is what we get. F Tier (Waste of a tower slot): Unsurprisingly, it’s sledger. I’ve seen more people use freezer for freezing than sledger.
